I am a student. I have a BA in history and a MA in medieval history.
I like the quiet in the middle of the night. I live beyond my years; at twenty-four, I've done enough work for two degrees and started work on a third. I've lived in another country, I've traveled Europe, I've worked great jobs and lousy ones. I've loved recklessly and foolishly, and occasionally it's turned out for the best. I've only lived with my parents for a few months since a bit before I turned 17; not that I dislike them, but I prefer my own space.
I love to cook. I've yet to meet anyone from my generation who makes anywhere near as good a piecrust as I do, and everyone who's tried any of my breads will tell you that my baking is superb. Cooking is a passion for me. I love good food, and I love creating it.
I am what I am. Sometimes painfully, but almost never apologetically. It means that sometimes, life bitchslaps me for being who and what I am, but I accept that there is a downside to not fitting the cookie-cutter mold society tells us is prefered. I hate cookie-cutter people.
