yuletide reveal!

This year, I wrote two venture brothers stories for my receipent, subterrian. My person was very open, admitting she likes everyone and would be happy with anything. So, that made me decide to write a Brock/Rusty story (Freshman Orientation (Or, When Thaddeus aka T.S. aka Rusty aka Doc Met Brock.) and then a story my favorite henchmen, 21 and 24, entitled The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Henchmen in Love. I had a great deal of fun with both of these and I hope they were enjoyed. Each story took quiet a bit of research as it's hard to remember everything that happens in Venture Brothers. I took the liberty of adding Billy the Quiz Kid in the Brock/Rusty story, even though he didn't really go to college with them. I wanted to put in some white/billy stuff, so i figured, the heck with it. And also, the details of the hank and dean's birth has been widely debated so I used one of the explainations in the show that may or not be true. The henchmen story is based around a deleted scene from season 2 that I still haven't seen but read a detailed description of. The story goes up and through the end of season 3.

Enjoy! And a formal thank you again to my gift-givers, JSG (writer of my Wonderland story) and smercy (writer of my Fables story).

Sequel to 'Just Justin.'

M.I.A. by Cherry Vanilla
(Justin Timberlake/Elijah Wood, PG, 100 words)

Note: End dialogue lifted from Elijah's MTV post-show interview.

* * * * * * *

Elijah's stumbling around backstage when Justin appears. They hadn't seen one another since the party, and suddenly Elijah's back on that balcony, hot mouth covering his own.

Fire ignited, Justin turns to his dressing room. "Can you guys scram?" The bodyguards grunt. The make-up artists roll their eyes, but leave anyway.

"I'm gonna miss T.A.t.u. for this."

Justin grins, sliding down Elijah's body. "I'll make it worth your while."

* * * * * * *

"What was your favorite?"

"Apparently T.A.t.u. was on .... and I missed it."

"That was your favorite, missing it?"

"Yeah," inner smile forming slowly.

yep, i've crossed over.

Just Justin by Cherry Vanilla
(Elijah Wood/Justin Timberlake, PG, 100 words)

The scene: some A-list party. You spot him by the back wall, imagine going over, but have no clue what you'd say. 'I've heard your music?' (Which you don't necessarily like.) 'Congrats on your solo career?' (Which you don't necessarily care about.)

And so it comes as a complete surprise when he approaches you on the balcony thirty minutes later.

"Hey. You were great in Lord of the Rings, man."

You smile, relieved when you start forming sentences. When your fingers brush while passing him your cigarette, you shiver. His eyes tell you he's noticed. And his mouth tastes sweet.

Future Tense by Sarah
(Jack/Doug, Dawson's Creek, 100 words, PG)

contains speculation/spoilers for finale. takes place an undisclosed amount of time before those events.Collapse )

Tags:

Note: Takes place sometime during the '5 years in the future time lapse' but before the actual finale.

China by Sarah
(Joey/Pacey, Dawson's Creek, PG, 100 words)

"China ... all the way to New York. I can feel the distance getting close."

He dreams of her at night. Her hair brushing his forehead, running his hands through it, cupping her face like fine porcelain; watching her eyes shine with laughter. Those moments felt like he was flying. She lifted him up; intoxicated.

He wakes and reaches for her. Sometimes, he'll find a warm body. Sometimes, the cold bedsheets. The women are never 'The One' and the bed never warms, even with their bodies.

He hears from her once a week. She has a boyfriend, a career, a life. And he still feels 15, chasing rainbows he'll never catch.

Except in his dreams.

drabble #4 - The West Wing

Note: Post-ep for the Donna/Amy storyline in "Commencement."

Surrender by Sarah
(Donna/Amy, The West Wing, PG-13, 100 words)

She imagines leaning over, sliding her hand up Amy's thigh, stopping all conversation. This all seems like some bad cliche.

"You don't have to tell me. Let's call it a night, okay?"

So she nods; the only thing she can do. They walk into the deserted bullpen and gather their coats. She shuts the light in Josh's office, bumping into Amy when turning back. She shivers as breath grazes her cheek. Then Amy's hand rises up; runs through her hair.

"I didn't want an answer."

"No," she breathes, as their lips brush. And she deepens the kiss; swallows the lie.

drabble #3 - Josh/Lij

Based on a picture from the Faculty premiere that I can no longer find anywhere. Naturally that's where this takes place.

Said Softly by Cherry Vanilla
(Josh/Elijah, PG, 100 words)

His arm is around Josh, the scent of cigarettes thick under his nose. They smile, a flash, and Jordana bounces off. His arm is still around Josh, and he has to remind himself to let go. But the memories flood back and it's the hardest thing ever.

Catch of his hand as he pulls away, and he's not being looked at, he's being looked *through.* His hand is squeezed and as Josh lets go, he murmurs, 'Let's go for a smoke after.'

Two hours later, the taste of cigarettes blend together as they kiss in the alleyway behind the theater.

His World Would Go On Turning by Sarah
(Les Miserables, Eponine, 500 words)

On my own. Those were the words she so painfully declared to the glittering river. A brief thought to throw herself in occurred but Marius' face was there, with the possibility of him one day returning her affection. Giving over that letter was the hardest thing she'd ever had to do. She could have lied, thrown it away. But she's not that girl. And it's something her parents would not have thought twice about. Walking alone the empty streets she hears the sound of feet on cobblestone. Quickly, she ducks out of sight.

"Have you spotted the Barricade?"

"Yes, Sir. Ten miles south of our location."

"Bon. We'll break within the hour."

Sooner than they were expecting. Her heart was racing as she heard them turn away. But they didn't leave. They collected weapons, suited up, and before she could move from her hideout without being spotted, they'd already begun to descend. She took the shielded view along the river. All she could think of was Marius. All she could see was death and destruction as she ran. And when she reached the Barricade, the army was already assembled. A storm of jackets, canons and rifles. Gunfire. It'd already begun. Disguised in her boy-like clothes, she crept up the side, tried to blend into the grays around her, but just as she made it over the wall, it hit her. Sharp pain piercing her side, her body jerks and she's shot again, red seeping through the brown of her jacket. She hears someone call out 'there's a boy trying to get over.'

And soon she's being pulled over the Barricade. And into Marius' arms.

And she's where she belongs, finally, in his arms. No longer on her own. She begs him to hold her, as he fights tears. Her body is shaking, and she knows now what dying feels like. And it's nothing like a broken heart. Yet, she feels no pain. Because he's here. She's safe. He's holding his best friend, and she's holding her true love. She'd always wanted him to see her. Now, she almost wishes he couldn't; the naked pain on her face, and not from the wound in her chest, but the love shining in her eyes, and the fear of leaving this world, leaving Marius. Yet, in someway, she'd always known she would die for him. They clutch one another, as she professes that he will keep her safe. He will keep her warm.

"But you will live, 'Ponine -- dear God above. If I could heal your wounds with love," he cries.

And she feels her heart stop, and restart all over again. Because this is enough. And she isn't afraid anymore.

"And you will keep me safe."

One desperate kiss, a first kiss, a last; his lips coming alive beneath her dying ones. And all of her secrets, of the attack, of her love, are revealed as the life drains from her body, and she looks into his eyes one last time.

For the Samfanfic "You want a hug?" Challenge.

Before He Goes by Sarah
(The West Wing, Josh/Sam, 100 words)

* * * * *

When he looks back, he knows he'll never understand why he waited. Two months of flirting and tonight of all nights he made his move. Now, lying back on Josh's bed, Josh's frame fitting perfectly against his, their mouths meeting, tongues clashing, his body being blessed with frantic kisses, he doesn't want it to end; and he has to leave in the morning. Internship over and he'll never see this man again. This man who will probably forget he exists.

"Goodbye, he whispers softly; to himself.

Josh's eyes glance upward. "Hmm?"

"Nothing, he murmurs, and begins to memorize every moment.

Things Learned in a Hallway by Sarah
(SV, Clark/Lex, 100 words)

She was there to discuss the books and overheard them.

"So, I'll just be ... taking my stuff."

"That's your Warrior Angel."

"No, it's yours."

"I bought it for you."

"It's a collector's, Lex."

"Take the damn thing, Clark. And there's some of your clothes in my closet."

"Yeah ... okay."

"What are you waiting for? Get out."

"Lex, can't we--"

"Go, Clark." Cold. harsh. Uncaring.

"You're such a bastard," whispered, barely audible.

He passed her in the hallway, didn't stop.

"Yeah ... remember that." Lex's words, laced with pain.

He looked up, eyes red.

" Lana. Come in."
