Happy Yuletide! I am so excited you’ll be writing something from me. Obviously all my prompts are optional but I’d rather throw out many ideas than none at all. I am also very welcome to accepting Treats!
Here are some of my general likes/dislikes including DNWs (most of which I said during signups, some of which I was specific to the actual fandom and some of which were in general)

What I said in signup:
I’m basically looking for something with Bryan Danielson and any of these other characters. So as long as the fic includes Bryan as part of the pairing you can surprise me on the rest. In my letter I will put specific prompt ideas.

I really am obsessed with the recent hike Bryan took both Danny and Yuta on expanding from his Yuta solo hike. 1. I watched Yuta and Bryan leave karaoke together (and saw how Yuta literally showed up late and was clearly only there for Bryan), and two days later Bryan got his revenge in-storyline. Additional comments: I’ve loved this band since I was a teen and always lowkey shipped it but never went hardcore bc they then eventually broke up and I just couldn’t go there. But now they’ve fixed things and it feels like for real this time and I’m in deep
Honestly I’m not sure how many specific prompts I have I just am truly obsessed with how much like fanfic these two truly have become like they got their second chance and they’re doing it right this time. As I said in my signup for this one I’m okay with the cancer mentions which is normally a dnw for me. But I am very emo about Tom being marks “north star” during his treatment and them just leaning on each other. So yes you could write stuff around the time in which they were reconnecting there, relearning each other. You could write stuff about the new songs, ONE MORE TIME (song) broke and remade me.
I also have so many feelings about the +44 era, mark wearing his heart on his sleeve
And I can’t handle that the healing is so real that they did a mashup of boxcar/+44 on tour so yeah I’d take anything surrounding that.

I’d love a friends to lovers in between the time of the last scene in the play as the revival version really implied to me that they were together again. I’d also love any pre-canon of their relationship (first meeting, first time, etc) and character studies of either of them. Whatever you come up with I’ll love. Highly partial to Andrew Garfield and Nathan Stewart-Jarett’s portrayals of Prior and Belize. Forgot to include it in my specific DNWs but would prefer no AU with this one.
I’m okay with Louis being mentioned and him reminiscing on their past relationship and current friendship but I didn’t want to request him as I really don’t want a Prior/louis story. If you go post-play, would love anything related to the 80s vs 90s. What’s it like for Prior and/or Belize to be in a new decade. I adore 80s/90s music/pop culture so bonus for any references.

I would love a summer hookup (pre- movie) in which they kiss and then just keep on fooling around any chance they get but they don’t really talk about it?
Just looking for some hopeful sweet teen romance (I love how affectionate Dennis is with Arnie) before it all goes to hell for them.
Alternately, you could do an AU in which Dennis is able to save Arnie/pull him back from all of Christine’s influence. Or obviously something totally different! As I say in my signup I’m okay with an unhappy ending for this one as it’s in the canon source material.

5. Western Stars (album) - Bruce Springsteen
I requested this once and received an amazing treat for it. Nommed it this year and decided to do a last minute addition this year and request again.
I’ll take anything that explores any of the songs on this album (Although I would prefer no Hello Sunshine) and it’s themes. Could be gen, het, or slash. I love the overarching Americana theme, and how a lot of it seems to be set in the silver screen era/post WWII. and just aging.
I love that some songs repeat the same chords from other songs as an intentional connection. The album is so incredibly seemless that i can’t ever imagine listening to it out of order or not all at once. It’s meant to be consumed as a full bodied piece. Feel free to create original characters or use Bruce as your catalyst, I’m fine with either. I’m more than happy if you decide to just take the feel of the album it and run with it, but to highlight some particular songs:
- Hitchhikin’ - one of my favorites and one of the few songs on the album that is truly youthful. I picture a young hitchhiker, maybe in the 50/60s picked up by older men who are fathers about to become fathers etc, but this guy isnt thinking about that and maybe never has? Is he gay? Does he hook up with a guy around his age who picks him up? Up to you.

- wayfarer: I feel like this goes right along with hitchhikin’ to be honest. Could be the same person. No commitments, no connections, still youthful? There’s a cynicism towards love and settling down-

My baby's coming in on the Tucson train
- Western Stars: the palpable aging of an old screen star who’s now washed up, talks about being on set but then also talks shot viagra (I don’t think it’s meant to be a reference that he’s now doing porn, but hey, could be?). A screen star that is remembered by a commercial with a credit card but wistfully reminisces over when he was once shot by John Wayne in a movie and it’s lead him to a million drinks. I just love everything in this song, all the imagery.

- sleepy Joe’s cafe: a good connector, I can see a lot of characters from the album just turning up there. I like the mention of Joe opening the place after his GI loan in 1945 - love the thought of it being a gathering spot in the 50s/60s. Would be down for hearing about the story of Joe and May, or the narrator that comes to escape-

-Drive Fast: we head back to the silver screen for this one, and also back to classic Bruce + Cars. Once again this is an aging and broken man, reminiscing on his days drag racing as a teenager, becoming a stunt man, meeting a woman on the set of a B-movie (producer? Director?), who was clearly more well-off.

We met on the set of this B picture that she made
She liked her guys a little greasy and 'neath her pay grade
We headed down to Baja in the desert, we made our stand of it
Figured maybe together we could get the broken pieces to fit
-Chasin’ Wild Horses and Sundown are both about regrets and want and scream the mid-west. These could easily be connectors with other stories
-Somewhere north of Nashville: this one has a distinct feel of an aging country singer looking back on his regrets. Bruce even sings it with a country twang. I love the idea that the person he lost for “the song” aka his career was a guy, because it was either stay in the closet and have a career or come out and have nothing — except the person you love, of course. These lyrics are killer, feel free to break my heart

-Stones: this is my absolutely favorite song on the album. I tend to pair it with my second favorite song “moonlight motel”. Again, it reads as an older person looking back in regret and the disintegration of a relationship.

(Skipping There Goes My Miracle and Hello Sunshine as they’re the weak links in the album imo.)
So that leaves:
-Moonlight Motel: so good. Just amazing. Another lost relationship. A man reflecting on young love and youth while having nothing, having gone through kids and bills and the wife that’s no longer there and is traveling to lonely, empty hotel rooms. It’s just so bleak yet also so lovely and I see it connecting with multiple previous songs.

6. The Breakfast Club: (Brian/Bender: all characters required)

I always want the same thing: post-canon future fic with these two falling for each other. Don't care how it happens. Alternatively, if future fic ain't your comfort zone any first time/first date/prom fic would be great.
I love when the script is flipped and it's Bender who turns out to be the successful one. I love the thought of how these two can fit into one another's worlds, at the end of the film and if they do at all, or if they don't until years down the road. From my likes, any version of fuckbuddies to friends to lovers or fake dating would also be wonderful.
7. Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private investigators (Frank/Sebastian : all characters required)

Additional comments: I binged this whole show recently and loved it. I especially loved that Frank’s sexuality seemed a bit ambiguous. I loved the moment early on in the show where he said ‘Sebastian I could kiss you.’
While part of me still isn’t sure how I categorize Frank (I definitely feel there could be aspects of asexuality) I’d absolutely love a story that delved more into his and Sebastian’s relationship.
1. I don’t believe we learned how they met? (If I’m misremembering you can ignore this prompt) I love Sebastian’s master of disguise routine and how it fits with his theatre background. Did they perhaps meet that way? Was Sebastian in drag? (this does not count as the genderswap DNW - basically I’m not looking for always a girl/suddenly a girl fic but genderplay is totally fine as is mistaken identity on the part of Frank). Did they have a one night stand they never spoke of?

5. Western Stars (album) - Bruce Springsteen
I requested this once and received an amazing treat for it. Nommed it this year and decided to do a last minute addition this year and request again.
I’ll take anything that explores any of the songs on this album (Although I would prefer no Hello Sunshine) and it’s themes. Could be gen, het, or slash. I love the overarching Americana theme, and how a lot of it seems to be set in the silver screen era/post WWII. and just aging.
I love that some songs repeat the same chords from other songs as an intentional connection. The album is so incredibly seemless that i can’t ever imagine listening to it out of order or not all at once. It’s meant to be consumed as a full bodied piece. Feel free to create original characters or use Bruce as your catalyst, I’m fine with either. I’m more than happy if you decide to just take the feel of the album it and run with it, but to highlight some particular songs:
- Hitchhikin’ - one of my favorites and one of the few songs on the album that is truly youthful. I picture a young hitchhiker, maybe in the 50/60s picked up by older men who are fathers about to become fathers etc, but this guy isnt thinking about that and maybe never has? Is he gay? Does he hook up with a guy around his age who picks him up? Up to you.

- Western Stars: the palpable aging of an old screen star who’s now washed up, talks about being on set but then also talks shot viagra (I don’t think it’s meant to be a reference that he’s now doing porn, but hey, could be?). A screen star that is remembered by a commercial with a credit card but wistfully reminisces over when he was once shot by John Wayne in a movie and it’s lead him to a million drinks. I just love everything in this song, all the imagery.

-Drive Fast: we head back to the silver screen for this one, and also back to classic Bruce + Cars. Once again this is an aging and broken man, reminiscing on his days drag racing as a teenager, becoming a stunt man, meeting a woman on the set of a B-movie (producer? Director?), who was clearly more well-off.

I love the idea that the person he lost for “the song” aka his career was a guy, because it was either stay in the closet and have a career or come out and have nothing — except the person you love, of course. It’s just so bleak yet also so lovely and I see it connecting with multiple previous songs.

I love when the script is flipped and it's Bender who turns out to be the successful one. I love the thought of how these two can fit into one another's worlds, at the end of the film and if they do at all, or if they don't until years down the road. From my likes, any version of fuckbuddies to friends to lovers or fake dating would also be wonderful.

Additional comments: I binged this whole show recently and loved it. I especially loved that Frank’s sexuality seemed a bit ambiguous. I loved the moment early on in the show where he said ‘Sebastian I could kiss you.’
While part of me still isn’t sure how I categorize Frank (I definitely feel there could be aspects of asexuality) I’d absolutely love a story that delved more into his and Sebastian’s relationship.
1. I don’t believe we learned how they met? (If I’m misremembering you can ignore this prompt) I love Sebastian’s master of disguise routine and how it fits with his theatre background. Did they perhaps meet that way? Was Sebastian in drag? (this does not count as the genderswap DNW - basically I’m not looking for always a girl/suddenly a girl fic but genderplay is totally fine as is mistaken identity on the part of Frank). Did they have a one night stand they never spoke of?
2. Do they have to go undercover as a couple one time on a case? What happens? The tropier the better!
3. You could write a fic that does lean more into Frank being asexual but he does fall for Sebastian who is very much a sexual being. How do they navigate the relationship?
Honestly I’ll take anything, I just randomly do ship these two lol.
8. Common People - Pulp (song)- (Narrator , Girl from Greece: either character required)
This is one of my favorite songs and I think it would just be fun to have something written around it, either about both characters or either. You could do the events of the song, you could do the past or the future.
I love the class differences and the imagery that’s provoked.
Would like to hear about what happens after their supermarket date and hookup. How long do things last? Can she really live in a common people world? Does he meet her family? How did her family get rich?
Any and all backstories and expansions would be great.
