A male of average height, Yalarin is covered with brown and white feathers, and has a pair of wings extending from his shoulder blades. His body is whipcord thin and his muscles long and taught as a bowstring. He watches the world with bright yellow eyes and his curved beak has a bit missing.
He tends to be a bit too mouthy and hasn't yet learned to back down from a fight, so it's not uncommon he gets knocked around a bit, especially at the end of the night when he's had too much to drink. His metabolism runs fast so it's not hard to get him drunk. He is the quintessential "cheap date".
He usually dresses casually, in jeans and a tailored shirt. He wears a silver amulet of an ankh around his neck. All of his fingers and toes end in sharp claws.
A dedicated adrenaline junkie, he'll happily talk about any kind of adventure. If you can fly, he'd love to go gliding with you as well.
