As a general rule I am whisper friendly. But I do expect people to use common sense and not send random obscenities by whisper out of the blue, especially without making a proper introduction or asking if I am interested in such.

Talon likes the rain and thunderstorms more than most gargoyles, and
spends a lot of time reading books. Having been around for just over two
centuries he has first editions of many books, though by far his most
prized are the works of one J.J.R. Tolkien. He also enjoys fishing,
hunting, and archery although he never uses bait when fishing as he
enjoys the more relaxing aspect of the pastime rather than the thrill of
the catch. Among other things he enjoys is gardening, something he
always finds an excuse to partake in. though he has never revealed to
anyone why he enjoys it.
Dislikes: He very much dislikes humans due
to the grotesque statues they call gargoyles, which he considers a
severe mockery of his race. Likewise he dislikes castles and churches as
many are adorned with the grotesque statues. Like all gargoyles he
despises those who prey on the innocent and the weak. By rights he
should hate humans as in 1835 on his 22nd birthday his parents were
killed by marauders, his mothers head mounted on a pike as gruesome
trophy to be displayed. His fathers body however was never found.
Fears:
His biggest fear is dying alone, something that is quite silly given
the longevity of gargoyles. He is also afraid of letting anyone get
close to him emotionally, not wanting to outlive them. Of course this is
contradictory to his fear of dying alone, not that anyone has tried
telling him that.
Virtues: Talon will try to help others if he can,
even if it puts his own life at risk. He is also eager to learn new
things, this is one of the reasons he enjoys reading.
Defects: He
distrusts all humans despite the fact that the race has advanced
significantly in the 178 years since his parents were murdered. He can
also at times be over emotional, during these times he over reacts to
the slightest criticism. Thankfully these incidents are not as frequent
as they once were.
Allergies: Although he enjoys gardening he has
minor allergies to several plants. He can not eat shell fish, as he has a
severe allergic reaction to it.
Parents: Deceased, murdered by marauders.
Siblings: None.
Significant Other: Currently N/A
Profession: Unemployed.
Mary Sue Rank: 18
Colour
Scheme: Talon's colouration is unusual even among gargoyles. He has
hair of Obsidian black, Fur as white as Alabaster, and Garnet red
markings. These features alone separate him from others of his species,
but it is his eyes that are the most notably different. Instead of the
normal catlike eyes of other gargoyles, Talon's are pupil-less and are a
glowing Emerald green.
Appearance: this 7'6'' Gargoyle is easily
noticed not only because of his colouration though that is a large part
of it, but also because he is anthropomorphic a trait he received from
his werewolf mother. He also has wings on his back which are bat-like in
appearance although their colour matches that of his fur. As well as
horns on his head that curve forward towards his brow. He can usually be
seen wearing black jeans and a black leather trench coat with slits in
the back for his wings, he never wears any kind of shirt or any
footwear.
Other Features: Though he appears mere flesh and blood at a
glance his bones are as hard as Basalt rock. He also has Diamond
Knuckles though at first glance these points of diamond seem to be
socketed into his knuckles surgically, however nothing could be further
from the truth. They are in fact part of him although even he cannot
explain how this came to pass; it is simply something that has always
been.
History: Born on October 30th 1813 to a werewolf mother and
gargoyle father Talon was always different. Neither Gargoyle nor
werewolf but a hybrid of both, something that was once thought to be
impossible. Unusual for her kind Talon's mother was a priest, and had
her own small church in the countryside for any and all to worship at
without fear of discrimination. His father was the churches protector
for some time before eventually falling in love with his mother, and a
few years later they married and Talon was born. Brought up in a
religious environment he nevertheless had a fairly normal childhood, for
his own safety he was home schooled due to the intolerance of people
for those who were different at the time. Life went on normally until
5am on October 30th 1835 his 22nd birthday.
On this day his
world was turned upside down, his parents murdered and his home burned
to the ground by marauders hired by the mayor of a village five miles
south of the church. What prompted the attack is unknown, what is known
is that his mothers head was removed and displayed on a pike in the
village. At the time of the attack Talon was out hunting which is the
sole reason he survived. Upon returning to the burnt wreckage of the
church that was his home he discovered the charred, headless corpse of
his mother.
Despairing and horrified he ran into the still
burning wreckage of the church to find his father, but all he found was
his mothers bible and rosary beads both miraculously untouched by the
flames. No trace of his father could be found except for his axe which
lay shattered next to a marauders charred corpse, this led Talon to
believe his father had been killed trying to protect his mother. In
Talon's mind it was clear his father fell first and his mother killed as
she fled.
Tortured by what he saw at home he flew towards the
village hoping someone there had seen something that could explain the
carnage. Upon arriving however he saw his mothers head on a pike
displayed like some sick and twisted trophy. The villagers celebrating,
and the mayor handing a large pouch of gold to the leader of the
marauders. Seeing this drove Talon further into despair, and although he
wanted nothing more than to avenge his parents he knew he was no match
for a full band of marauders.
Knowing that he would not survive
if he confronted the marauders the only option left to him was to flee,
and to hope no-one in the village had seen him. He fled north the image
of his mothers corpse and his burnt home still fresh in his mind, all he
has left now is his mothers bible and her rosary beads. Of his father
all he really has is memories. Memories of being taught to read, of
being taught how to hunt.
