Skip Lyons

I've been writing furry fiction for a while now, but I've made this new account for a fresh collection of stories. I want to start something new and cohesive, and the Skip Lyons profile (or brand, I guess) is part of that.
My previous account, which might still see some action who knows, is Finn Panther, found at finnpanther.sofurry.com. I have a few stories over there, including some smutty ones for the discerning viewer. I'm sure I'll get some smut over to this profile in due time. I'm just prioritizing sex a little less this time around. It'll happen when it happens - and boy will it happen. But I'll be writing more about what I want to write about, first and foremost. Trying to force sex stories just because "it's what furries want to read" is a useless thing to do. Because if it isn't what I want to write then what's the use in it anyway? And who am I in the first place to decide what people do or don't want to read?
But anyway. Finn Panther was my first fursona, and I was never much into the idea of having multiple fursonas. But I started including him in this grander web of stories, and it sort of required a more grand perspective from myself, to treat him like a character and less like myself. Hence Skip Lyons, which I suppose makes me a self-insert in a few of my own stories, come to think of it. Way I see it, Finn Panther was always an opposite version of myself. He was everything I wasn't, but I so wished I could be. But Skip is different. I'd like to be Skip, but I also would like to say that I'm on my way to becoming him. An obtainable ideal, I suppose. The person I want to be, and hopefully will be some day. The Skip in my stories is where I'd like to be, six or seven years from now. I doubt any of that information is at all necessary, but still I thought I'd share it. So if anyone has objections to my own name showing up in my stories, may you fears be at least a little bit assuaged.
And as ever, I love and appreciate feedback. I'll put a Discord URL here someday, as well as a Telegram handle. But for now messages through SoFurry will do just fine. Thanks for checking me out.
