Personality
Often described as uncaring, Exia isn't one to sugar coat his opinions, not matter the issue. Of course, this has gotten him a somewhat negative image with many of his peers. His attitude, however, should not be seen as a sign of coldness, or a lack of emotion or caring. Exia often cares deeply for those he is close to, and those who consider themselves close to him. Though, he admits that he has much difficulty in showing this. Other aspects of his personality rarely have him faring any better. Being almost compulsively impatient, he has a tendency to lose interest in something or someone that he thinks is taking up to much of his time. For those that manage to get close enough to him, and those he allows himself to get close to, Exia shows a great deal of compassion and caring, though public displays of such things are few and far between. If put simply, his hard shell often puts people off before they can encounter his softer, caring side.
History
From as far back as Exia can remember, he had been living on the move. A hermit or Gypsy of sorts. The first century or so of his life was spent with his father, his mother having left shortly after his birth. The two very rarely stayed in one place for too long, only long enough to squeeze what coin they could from the area before moving to another to repeat the process. Thanks to his father, he learned many skills that he would use later in his life, skills focused on getting coin in almost any situation, be it honestly or not. He also gained a good portion of his fathers "to the point" attitude, rarely mincing or buttering his words up in order to make them sound a little nicer. His father, like his mother, soon left him after getting on the wrong side of a Guard's blade while trying to pilfer supplies from a town merchant. Left to live for himself, he used his father's teachings to make a rudimentary living for himself on the street working as a hired hand, of sorts. Stealing valuables, people and other such items. He did his fair share of honest work along side, providing that it paid well enough to be worth his time. Exia spent a good portion of his life living in such a way, moving from town to town, from city to city until he had gotten himself enough coin to settle for for the long run. For a few years, he lived quietly, tucked away from society as his kind slowly began to dwindle, their numbers had already been low when he was born. But after so many years, more and more had been killed, or had simply went into hiding. Something he chose to do for as long as he could. Several decades passed with Exia living in the Shadows of the world, stealing to get what supplies he couldn't buy safely. Several decades that bore a sizable chunk from his mind, leaving his sanity on the questionable side once things had changed enough to make it safe for him to finally walk the streets again. From that point in time until present, he worked as he had learned to do as a whelp, squeezing the gold out of gullible shoppers and bystanders, thieving and stealing for what he couldn't acquire through honest work. Yes, his history is a bland, somewhat boring one. But not everyone is a hero, nor does everyone have a fascinating story to tell. Exia is simply someone in the back, an everyman. Trying to make a living with what the world has to offer him.

Please don't PM me if you don't intend to stick around for any extended time. If there is one thing I can't stand it's people that start something they don't have the time to finish. Thank you. I also realize that a shorter profile such as this will put many of you off. Good. If you care so much about me having such a simple profile, then I don't want anything to do with you.

Males, take note, I will come to you if I am interested.

I'm open more most kinds of roleplay. Modern time period is favoured. Have decent grammar. I'm no arsehole about it, but I enjoy people who can spell and punctuate. That's all, really. Talk to me if you want too know more.
