Hello,
Call me Silverr. I am old and gray but not yet ancient.
My favorite hobby is writing. In real life, I dwell in the practical realm
of science and engineering. Logic,
rationalism, and order were my guiding principles and highest ideals for
decades, and yet behind the façade, fanciful stories developed and unfolded
within my imagination whenever the tediousness and boredom of the real world
threatened to overwhelm me. It took a
long time, but I realized that I had harshly and unfairly closeted my fanciful
daydreaming side. Suppressed for too
long, the imaginative artist within me deserves a chance to develop and grow.
I am, and have been since before the word was first coined,
a furry. It was a great delight to find
that groups of similarly inclined people exist and gather together to express
themselves on sites like SoFurry. After
reading a few stories and seeing the marvelous artwork produced by my fellow
furries, I decided it was time to unleash my own imagination and share my creativity
with others. Having only so-so drawing
skills and a compulsive habit of inventing stories, I elected to write.
My preference is science fiction and adventure, but I don't
mind dabbling in other genres. I tend to
write whatever amuses me and feels to me like a good story. Erotica is a good example. It is something I never thought I would
write, but common wisdom claims that an author should “write about what you
know" meaning write about emotional content – what and how you feel. Well, I think we all know the human brain is
thoroughly obsessed with sex. Since mine
has a furry fixation, I provide that outlet to my muse whenever it desires.
I have one foremost goal as a writer: to continuously improve
my skills and become a great author. Please
share my story-telling journey with me and join me for adventure in some
alternate worlds. I endeavor not to
disappoint, but whether you love or hate my stories or just think my writing
could use some improvement, feel free to express to me whatever you think of
them. I promise to respond with humility
and equanimity as appropriate to the circumstance.
I do occasionally take on commissions if the concept amuses
me or for any other random reason that may strike me. My time for writing is limited, though, so this
is rare. The good news is I don't charge
money for them.
