"He who makes a beast of himself removes himself from the pain of being human."

-Dr. Samuel Johnson

Leering with luminescent, golden irises, the serpent looms in front of you. With a head the size of a human, false eyes, not unlike an orca, rest slightly above and behind the real ones. The lustrous black scales gleam in the dull light, marred here and there by deep scars. His tough scales get smaller and softer the more they curve down to his belly, transitioning smoothly into soft segments. His muscle ripple beneath the scales, body stretching out for another 20 feet. A heavily muscled pair of arms, with hands and fingers tapering into black talons, crosses in front of his strong chest as he sizes you up. The serpent flicks out his triple-forked tongue, bringing in your scent and heat.
