Time for another little update here I think ...
On the heels of a mini rant journal I posted on my FA, I have an announcement of sorts. I mentioned in that journal that I have been a little afraid to go through with this transition in my furry life because of the way I have seen the community treat some of these individuals and/or artwork surrounding the topic of hermaphrodite gendered characters. I have had a few hermaphrodite characters over the years, partially for fun, but mostly because I have always felt a sort of connection and kinship with them. A little over two years ago, now, I made the announcement of 'a shifting of the sands'. I made it known that I had decided to leave my fursona, Xander, and move on to the Dra'Essa species but that I would be splitting into 2 fursonas at the time. A male fursona, Navarro, and a female fursona, Tokala. I am still incredibly attached to those two, they have meant a lot to me in the years they have been with me. I've just felt a different ... pull?
This is just the next part of that journey for me. I am shifting, growing, into a new skin, so to speak.
Back in late 2017, early 2018 the artist responsible for the Dra'Essa species resurfaced again and I had had an idea for a new Dra'Essa in my head for the longest time. I seized the opportunity and had her draw up a set of lines for me, feeling she could probably do those a lot easier than a full commission and it would give me the freedom to get them colored at a later date. I had her draw me something a bit more ... unique ... to the species. A hermaphrodite that encompassed physical traits of both males and females. It took quite a while between edits to the lines, her real life, my wife's time to color and add NSFW, etc ... but ... finally I had a finished result that I was happy with. Navala was born! If you hadn't seen it yet ... the inspiration for her name was staring you in the face at the beginning of this journal. Navarro. Tokala. Navala. She's sort of meant to be that fusion of those two characters, which mean the world to me, and put into one body. Her coloration is the black/greyscale that I've come to favor and her eyes reflect my favorite color, periwinkle.
While, IRL, I am not intersex (that I know of) nor do I consider myself transgendered (if you met me in person, I'm probably one of the more masculine people you'd see, minus the body builder bod lol), I have always had a fascination and preference for the ability to be both and/or either gender. I have felt that way ever since I was a little boy growing up using my imagination to create whole world scenarios that I would act out in a game that I would play. I also always dreamed what it would be like to have been able to be one of the Animorphs and be able to switch between being a boy and a girl. As I grew up, I became a lot more interested in the possibilities of having both after stumbling across artwork and stories that included characters that were hermaphrodites until I finally created my first, Halyn the hermaphrodite Lorcaelan, a species my wife and I created back in the end of 2012.
So ... despite the issues I've seen surrounding all of the hermaphrodite gender debate I am finally putting my thoughts into actions and, at least in my furry life, I'm putting my best furry face forward. It's time I embraced Navala in all of her hermaphrodite glory :)

I got my start as an unofficial furry doing role play on Myspace back in 2005. It was there I created my first fursona, Kamiboorei. I joined what was then Yiffstar a little less than 3 years later, after turning 18. It was between those times that I began to discover what the fur fandom really was and became a part of it. I'd have to say that, for the most part, furs are the most accepting and understanding people I've met ... and I really don't like people lol

While I have been an avid role player in the past, I do not do a whole lot of it now. If you would still like to try something, you can send me a message. I won't bite, but I can't guarantee I'll answer either xD I recently counted all of my OCs and it seems I'm sitting somewhere around 37, including my fursona. A few of my more well-versed/current characters are listed on this website, feel free to browse them and message a character you'd like to RP with. As a reference, all of my characters are feral and I usually only RP as a feral character. On rare occasions I will do some anthro RP with a few of them, but not usually for perfect strangers. I also have a preference to RP with feral only characters, most often only ones that are in context with whatever character I am attempting to role play with you. This means that my feral wolf is not likely to be thrilled to go for a ride on an anthro dragons back or even interact with anthros at all (humans specifically). My Dra'Essa may be more inclined to meet those types of anthros, however.
Writing:
Other than role playing, I have done a bit of writing. Unfortunately I'm so worried about how horrid I am at it that I haven't finished or posted anything up. In the future I will try to fix that issue ... I have a friend who was helping me improve on my story skills and a very long, in-depth RP with a character of hers and my mate's character that gives a great start to my Dra'Essa, Tokala. Once in a blue moon you may see me repost a commissioned story.

All of the artwork you see on this account was NOT drawn by me! I am very much untalented when it comes to art, though I've dabbled a little. I repost most all of my commissions, in part to get more exposure for artists and in part to share the amazing things I've had done. I have also posted up a bunch of artwork that my mate has done as a favor to get her exposure (she didn't even have or want a SoFurry/FurAffinity account for the longest time). She never really wanted to 'fess up' to drawing NSFW pieces, so I covered for her, haha. If you have a problem with me reposting artwork, suck it up buttercup ... I paid good money for most of those pieces. If you have a problem with me reposting YOUR artwork, please PM me, however, keep in mind that if I paid for a commission, I have a right to repost it on my own account as long as proper credit is given.
I LOVE gift art. I know, most people probably say that, but I just want to re-iterate it. If you like one of my characters and want a picture with them, feel free to use them in anything SFW, just link me to the picture so I can see it! If you want to use my characters in something NSFW PLEASE ask me first. There are a few fetishes that I really don't like or agree with and I'd rather my characters not be involved with. There are also a few kinks/fetishes that are a little borderline and depend on the situation. If you need a ref sheet for a certain character, let me know. The majority of my characters have one, though I don't have them posted here, most are found on my FurAffinity page.

I am a married fur in a straight relationship. Just wanted to get that out there as it doesn't seem to be super common. While I consider myself bisexual for the most part and so does my wife, we are a straight couple. You'll notice that a lot of my characters are 'in a relationship'. My wife and I always ask each other if we mind letting one of our characters be in a relationship with someone elses' character, generally offering first to each other. If neither of us mind and don't have a character we'd like to be with the offered character, then we seek someone else. The characters of mine that are single are free to do as they please, within reason.
I'm an avid gamer. Seriously ... LOVE playing video/computer games. I love Fallout series, Diablo 3, Elder Scrolls games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), WoW, H & G, Starcraft I/II, Civilization V, Dragon Age I/II/III, Mass Effect I/II/III, OverWatch, ARK, used to love Guild Wars, Perfect World, and others. As far as other MMO's go I also play World of Tanks/Warships. All the way up to tier 10 out of 10. I don't consider myself great, but better than average I guess. World of Warcraft, though I have been a bit lax playing since I unlocked my Vulpera
