Profile - I'm an aspiring furry writer and my influences include Stephen King, Orson Scott Card and Robert Sawyer. I love to read just about anything such as sci-fi, historical non-fiction and metaphysics and philosophy. My wife suggested I become more involved in the community and she gave me a good kick in the butt to get me to start writing my own stories. 

I live in Canada with my wife, Steffi, and I work for the Federal government in the department of health as an administrator. My wife is a nurse for the Civic hospital. We are planning to have children soon and hope for many years of continued happiness and marriage.

Interest in Furry Community - I discovered the furry community in the late 90's on various sites with various anthropomorphic art and amateur drawings. I'm a fan of animation, specifically anthro-centric cartoons, and the creativity of the artists on those early sites sparked my interest in this budding community. As the years passed, I would find small collections of furry art and eventually furry porn in varying quantity and quality.

In the mid-2000's, I found the VCL art site and started to enjoy both aspects of the growing popularity of furry art, the drawn and written kinds. I tended toward reading furry stories since I was able to make a deeper connection to the characters and settings. 

In 2008 I found this site and became a member soon afterward. SoFurry is my favourite furry fandom site since it caters to both artists and writers equally and is easy to navigate. I've met many friendly people here who share my interests and several more who enjoy my stories. I try to develop a connection with members who read and show an interest in my ongoing series and short stories.

I like to write complex characters in diverse settings touching on recurring themes such as personal redemption, trust and love, relationship building and overcoming challenges. I draw inspiration from my experiences with my wife and with my friends and family. 

Other Interests - I am an avid long distance runner and race marathons during the warmer months. My interest in running began in grade school when I joined the track and field team and I continued to pursue edurance races throughout high school and university. I also enjoy playing basketball, golf, pool, swimming and ping pong. 

My wife and I both enjoy playing casual games, however I also play World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, the Borderlands series and other major titles.
