I created a Role-Playing Game long ago. It is called "New World Rising" renamed recently to "Draconis Three: Adventure in the Land of the Ginn".
It is unlike anything else still on the market even though I created it in 1976. To this day in time no one in the world has figured out how to invert a role-playing game whether in paper and pencil as mine still is or with a digital based system. My game is still unique, I still have the same edge I did over all other systems that I did in 1976. No one has come close to what I created, they will of course copy me as soon as my game starts selling, everyone has that long list of court cases where people want to steal what you or I have created to reap all the rewards for themselves.
I planned for that, which is one of the reasons I did not start selling it in 1985 before the bottom fell out of paper and pencil RPG's. In 1986 no one would pay a dime to buy my game or anyone else' because of digital games on x-box or PlayStation.
And then the economy fell apart for me in the state where I was living for sixteen years, I got sidetracked by attempting to go into other businesses, because no one wanted a paper and pencil game anymore, they still wanted MMORPG's instead, by that time. Then the economy folded for the rest of the country because the president wanted everyone to have to choose communism since he borrowed more money for frivolous projects that were never finished than there was money in the world, in fact three times the amount of money in the world!
So no one could afford to play my game or any game. For this reason even Eve and Skyrim are not played much anymore by the mainstream. But now I see RPG's that are paper and pencil are coming back, the mainstream is sick of one way titles that don't have any other way to go but the one the programmers created, one buy, one play then shelve the game because it is boring.
A game that allows you to do what you want and change your path in any direction does not exist, well not until now, my game allows that. and it all works around two rules!
I created a really fun to play game is who i really am. I can draw, I can write, I am not the best in both of these areas, but sufficient enough to get my point across of presenting a story that other people can choose their own direction in, and have complete control over every facet of the character they create.
All other TTRPG's limit you in what path or what direction or by a myriad number of rules of everything you can't do.
I don't .
People have asked me this question which can only be answered one way, they ask, "What is the point of your game?"
and i can only say,
"Well what do want to do?'
What this means is simple whatever you want to do is the point of my game.
