I'm Malachyte! You can also call me Mal. I'm a red panda, and a full-time freelance artist. I draw a lot of different things in a lot of different styles, so I may post art that surprises you sometimes. One of my favorite things to draw is expressions (I'm told it's the best thing about my art, even!) From rage-filled sorrow to the heights of joy, I love expressive faces. I do a lot of digital art lately, but I started out full traditional media and still prefer it even now. My favorite tools are Copic markers and Micron liner pens.
I love books. I'm passionate about a lot of things, too many to list. I'm AFAB, and use She/They pronouns. I've got a degree in Japanese and I love to use it; feel free to hit me up with Japanese questions or small translation requests, and I just might do them. I live in the United States, and it's a mess.
Since we get to live in super cool "unprecedented times", here's a list of things about me to help me pass/fail your vibe check, should you desire it: Trans rights are human rights. Nazis and fascists can get out. Yes, I draw art of things that are illegal to do IRL, and no, I don't support doing those things IRL. Fiction =/= Reality. No AI art, and I'll block you if you make it. I'm sure there's other stuff to, but those are the big ones I think.
