Well. Shortly after I wrote these, my psych put me on Adderall, and things went a bit strange... for the next decade.
Two years into my Adderall usage, I'd more or less stopped sleeping normally and started to lose my mind, but I functioned well enough to keep it together and write code.... and then I started m2f HRT.
At that point, I utterly and completely lost my mind.
It was a rockin' good time, and I somehow managed to keep myself off the streets, and somehow managed to stay decently employed writing code and doing computer systems work, and somehow managed to not die driving fast cars recklessly(Vehicle Stability Assist FTW) but I was kind of a mess to deal with personally.
I worked hard at a startup in Silly Valley 24/7 and saved up money to study Japanese in Japan. I had to quit taking Adderall a year before moving to Japan to have any hope of being able to actually study, since it's illegal as all hell in Japan.
Anyway, I'm living in Japan now, near Osaka, trying learn the language. I like writing children's stories lately, as I'm basically a child. I've never really been able to "adult" in other than a work capacity.
Life is strange.
