I classify myself as an occultist. I explore consciousness-expanding
techniques and self-metaprogramming, without allegiance to religions
that dilute the process with politics and cultural baggage. I study the
Western Esoteric traditions primary (Hermetics, Thelema, Classical
Paganism). I'm not a neo-Pagan or Wiccan, but sometimes participate in
those communities.


My relationship to the fandom is fairly casual. I am not a lifestyler,
and seeing those excesses made me cynical at one time. However, it is
what you make it, and I prefer it to be a positive subculture where one
can explore the better half of themselves and create culture and art
instead of passively consuming it from mainstream sources. I try to see
the best in people and support those who share this vision.
