Hi there I'm Drafty

I'm Suffolk punch Stallion, standing (when feral) 17 hands high, I'm a little wider and lower to the ground than other draft horse breeds but can still pull twice my weight. I have a full chesnut coat and my mane and tail are between flaxen and honey colour and unlike some of my fellow heavy horses the shires and Clydesdales I have no feather around my hooves, just a little white hair behind my fetlocks, which I've no problem getting muddy.

As a breed we are good doers (which is Suffolk speak for good converters of food to power) we are gentle souls but we are quite quirky and intelligent.

I love music, I like a lot of different types of music the only rule I really have is it has to be good, I also love my music when it's live which is why I go to as many gigs and festivals as I can, more festivals than gigs nowadays, because they're fun, the people you meet are great, and they're outdoors which I love. So yeah I'm a horse that likes to dance in mud :P I love horses, the heavier the better but I like them all really. I am particularly fond of the Suffolk from working with them a little in the past. I try to spread awareness of the breed wherever I can, we are very endangered!

I can be anthro or feral, both forms reflect me well.

I am a forestry horse, I love what I do, I work in the woodlands of southeast England, I can disappear from time to time when we get really busy especially in the winter.

I can’t draw (have a huge respect for artists and writers), I write stories but not very well or quickly so just bear with me on that one. the other thing I do is take photographs, you can find some of them here, if you like anything I do, let me know!

I'm not all that good at starting conversations being quite a shy horse, but I am trying to get more involved and give something back with my writing. so if you want to know more about me, or anything please get in touch, I don't bite and I will always answer.
