I'm not any kind of
professional writer, nor do I have any aspirations to be. My first love
is oral storytelling, which dovetails naturally with my love for folk
music. I'm told, by folks that have read some of my occasional writings
that I have a decent grasp of plot and narrative and tell a decent tale
but I suppose that's not surprising given that I'm an avid reader of
everything from Dune to Dostoyevsky. I also have a deep and abiding love
of the pulp fiction of the 30's and 40's and of the classic hard-boiled
PI's like Sam Spade. The vast majority of anything I post here will be
clean, although I have been informed (by the two women for whom I have
written any) that I can write decent erotica too. I just need to be in
the mood and properly inspired.

If I find myself on a roll with a
story, I might post often. Then you'll see me go dark for a while as I
wait for the next inspiration to hit.
