I've been on this website ever since February of 2015. When I first joined, I did quite a bit of roleplay. I had several different characters, each unique and different. It was a fun time. Now, however, I've slowed down a bit. Outside life has taken over, and as I began to work full-time I didn't have enough time for hobbies such as roleplay and I sort of fell off this site. I never truly left it - I'd peek in now and again to look at artwork and stories, but I never picked up the mantle of Roleplayer again after that mostly because I didn't want to start anything new and disappoint my partners.
Recently, though, I've found myself missing writing for roleplays and I decided that I'd completely re-do this account and make it focused around the story of one single character. Alyssa Grey. She's been my character for a very, very long time and she's rather dear to me - so I felt it'd only be right to let her own the spotlight here. I won't be posting any other characters, but I will be updating and building up her profile as time goes by. She's heavily influenced by me, but also has her own unique traits as well!
I hope to begin a written series based off her in the future, but I'm not sure when that'll be.

- I've been on this earth for twenty-four years.
- I am, indeed, female.
- I live literally in the middle of nowhere in the U.S. (There's corn fields for miles.)
- I'm always incredibly busy - just a forewarning. While I have been trying to get more active on here again, there can always be a chance that I disappear for periods of time as well.
- I have two cats and a dog - I love animals very much.
- I'm not a huge fan of random friend requests. If you like sending friend requests, I don't have anything against it, but I tend to like to talk to a person a bit before I accept any requests - so please don't be offended if I decline your request. It's nothing personal.
- I work full-time at a library and I've also been trying to write/publish a book on the side.
- I'm a huge nerd for D&D.
- I do occasionally (very rarely tbh) play video games if I have time - the ones I enjoy the most are The Isle and Assassin's Creed.
- I might seem stand-offish or distant. I'll be honest that I have a bad habit of not checking my messages and responding. Usually when this happens I've either: A) Gotten pulled away and became busy with something or B) Fell asleep. So don't worry - it's nothing to do with you, I promise. I just have quite a few responsibilities outside of SoFurry that take priority. And because of that, I often get tired as well. I'll try my best to inform you - especially any of my current RP partners - if I'm going to be absent for a while, but I just thought I'd throw that out there just so you all know ahead of time before you agree to RP with me.
- Apart from my eccentric schedule; I do really enjoy meeting new people. I hope what I've stated above doesn't intimidate you too much. I love listening and contributing to interesting conversations and strangers are more than welcome to approach me on the forums or chat should you see me floating around. I'm never against casual chatting! I'm also usually open to Whispers on the chat (unless if it's stated otherwise) should you like to send one my way!
