Hi, my name is Ashley—but please call me Foxy! ????
It’s always been my dream to be around foxes all day, every day. I truly believe I’m a fox spirit in a human body. At home, I walk on all fours, bark when I’m upset, and eat from a dog bowl with my name on it. I always wear my fox ears and tail, whether I’m indoors or outside. In the woods behind my house, I’ve even built my own fox den, and in the summertime, that’s where I sleep. My bed at home is also designed like a den, and I curl up in it just like a fox. At work, I even sit like a fox!
Some nights, I pray to wake up with fur, paws, and a real tail—to finally be the red fox I’ve always felt I am inside. I want to run wild and free, truly living as my authentic fox self. Yap yap! ????
I also breed red foxes—right now it’s just red foxes, but I plan to expand to other kinds too. I started after the passing of my first fox, RedTail. She was only 8 months old when a hunter took her from me. Losing her broke my heart, but I wanted her memory to live on. That’s why I created my fox breeding business, RedTail’s Foxes, in her honor. She’s always in my heart, and I know she’d be proud of what I’m doing.
If you have any questions about foxes or what they’re like as pets, feel free to ask! I’m always excited to share what I know—and I’m pretty quick to reply. ????
