Hiya; I'm an outdoor/landscape photographer, an amateur stargazer and voracious reader of good furry stories.  Also something of an old dog.

I'm a lifelong photographer and I'd be what you could call the photographic equivalent of a blacksmith.  I use large all mechanical film cameras and I think the sound of a gear and spring powered shutter going click at 1/30th of a second is lovely.  I'm a big fan of black and white and I develop my own film and make prints in a darkroom -- with ye olde trays of chemistry.  I also hand-make my own prints by mixing up light sensitive solutions and brushing it on to paper.  I greatly enjoy the craft of physically getting my 'paws' to touch and handle the materials, mix up and formulate the solutions needed to create pictures.

When not working in the darkroom with trays full of prints or when the clouds thwart views of the night sky, I frequent the stories here. I especially enjoy the longer, involved, in depth stories with detailed characters and lots of plot to get lost into.
