I read stories, and write them occasionally. I also like to talk; very much so. If you see the little green light next to my name it usually means one of three things: I am bored and would love someone to talk to, I am reading something and would likely be available to talk, or I am already talking to someone and might be busy. The first two are the most likely, so if you want to talk shoot me a shout or PM. If I am busy I will try to be polite about it, and will likely be up to talking later. I am willing to talk about almost anything, but if you want to really get me going mention astronomy.
I will try to respond to every comment, shout, and message I receive. It may not happen immediately, but it will happen.
I am trying to write a story. However I am currently in college, so my free time is limited. I also have to deal with ADD, and serious writer's block. I will try to post something at least once each month, but I can't promise. Comments help me get back to work on it, so if you want to see more tell me.
I also do art sometimes. Usually just scenery, since drawing people and animals is still beyond me for now. If you like my style and have something you think might go well in it, consider suggesting it to me. I can't say I will certainly draw it, but I will definitely consider it.
I do math for fun sometimes. Nearly everyone gives me a disbelieving look when I tell them that, but it is true. Actually not just sometimes. I work on math problems of my own invention during my math class after I have solved the example problem we are working on and I am waiting for the rest of the class to catch up. I get this great feeling of satisfaction when the numbers suddenly fall into place and the solution presents itself in all its glory. If you give me an interesting math problem to work on I will like you for it. The more complex the better. Unless you are trying to get me to do your homework; I don't do that. I might help you figure out how to work through it though, if you ask nicely.
In case you couldn't tell from my name, shouts, favorites, and story I have a serious Corvid obsession (Ravens, Crows, Magpies, and Jays, in that order of importance to me.) I prefer non-anthropomorphic Corvids, but well done anthro Corvids will receive my appreciation.
Duo the Raven used to be the familiar of a sorcerer (also named Duo, hence the distinction "the Raven") in a D&D/Pathfinder hybrid campaign that got discontinued. Since then he has become my furry alter-ego. He is playful, curious, mischievous, sarcastic, and really likes playing with electricity. Don't ever try to get him drunk though. A three pound bird drinking full grown men under the table tends to draw a crowd. And if you actually manage it sometimes he starts trying to summon things....
Duo and I are not the same. He is basically a few segments of my personality that rarely get let out to play mixed together and filtered through a Corvid. We both share some tendencies, such as being overly formal when communicating, but he does things I usually don't, like drink alcohol. He is my main role-play character.
My adult infos contains much more about Duo, and some more about myself. I warn you that it is there for a reason. Not too much of a reason, but there is definitely some adults only info involved. I am more than willing to roleplay, both clean and adult, and the information for that is contained in my adult infos as well.
I have two main characters other than Duo:
--Gammia, a universe travelling shapeshifter with few preferences for the species and gender of the forms he/she takes.
--Pecan, a female magpie scientist of magic and engineering.
They both have pages in my characters section, as does Duo. I play all three fairly often.
If I cause insult or embarrassment or something else, please know it was almost certainly accidental. I almost never do such things intentionally. Instead of being angry, tell me. I will almost certainly apologize, and use the experience to help correct my future behavior.
I have sworn fealty to :iconKhaesho Scorpent:. He is my master, and I am his minion. I take my duties as a minion seriously. Possibly more seriously than even Khaesho realizes.
