Pack Behavior: Larc's New Opportunity
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Finding a job was proving to be harder than Larc had originally thought that it would be. Where at first the were-lucario thought that he would be able to easily find work doing some heavy lifting around the town of Torek he quickly came to the realization that most of the manual labor jobs were being fulfilled by pokemon of various size, strengths, and types. Not that this discouraged the black haired lycanthrope. Because Keith wasn’t making either him or Carl pay rent for the shed that they had managed to clean out he wasn’t so worried about securing work, however returning home to find his pack looking annoyed at their own failed attempts to find something worthwhile to do for themselves made Larc feel somewhat defeated.
‘I can’t even be motivation for my pack,” Larc thought angrily as he pushed the beans that were on the plate in front of him around until they had made a perfect circle on the ceramic.
“Try and cheer up, guys. It’s only been a couple of days.” Carl said cheerfully as the three of them sat together on the floor of their shed. “Things will get better soon, you’ll see.”
“Who are you trying to convince, us or yourself?” Larc teased while honing his eyes on his smaller twin. Carl said nothing but instead stuck his tongue out at the were-lucario. “Don’t stick out your tongue unless you plan to use it, beta.” Larc watched his brother shiver as he put a bit of a growl within his tone, and though not as deep in volume as what he could produce while in his true form it was still enough to make Carl start whimpering and squirming; the heated scent of his little brother’s submissive musk soon perfumed around the were-lucaroc’s body, this in turn made Larc’s sheath swell in between his legs.
“I wish you wouldn’t do that.” Carl said after regaining his composure.
“You love it and you know it.” Larc smirked but then scowled when a certain red and white wolf moved over to begin nuzzling his brother against the side of his face. Carl chuckled before reaching over to scratch Rip-Raff onto the back of his head, that the rock type pokemon began to kick his leg and pant was not missed by either twin.
After a few minutes Carl stopped stroking the midnight lycanroc and then turned his full attention towards his brother. “Putting that aside, have you looked into any mechanic jobs here in town?”
“Why would I?” Larc said with a shrug. “I didn’t finish my classes, remember?” Larc quickly dived into the plate half filled with beans before him after saying that.
Carl shook his head at his older sibling. “Maybe so, but do you want to see if they have a school here that can help you finish up your training?”
“Sure.” Carl sighed at the passive tone within Larc’s voice.
Rip-Raff let out a snort before moving his head down to begin licking his tongue across Carl’s naked chest, the feral pokemon made sure to get at his beta’s nipples as stroking his tongue across those soft little buds seemed to make the younger lycanthrope’s body emit more of the heady submissive scent that always caused his sheath throb with need in between his legs. Thanks to their elevated body temperatures the twins often tried to wear as little as possible whenever they could, something for which the rock type pokemon was very grateful for as it often gave him perfect opportunities like that moment to make his beta squirm beneath him. Of course this often served to piss Larc off, as could be heard by the way the elder of the twins growled a warning at the red and white wolf.
Of course Rip-Raff paid the other alpha no attention as he moved his head over and down the side of Carl’s chest without pausing.
“Calm down, Larc.” Carl pleaded while gently pushing the midnight lycanroc’s head away from his naked torso, much to the red and white wolf’s annoyance.
“I’m calm.” Larc said while gritting his teeth hard enough to make his lengthening fangs actually hurt. “He just needs to sit over there where he belongs.” he finished while his blue eyes bled over to a magenta color.
The midnight lycanroc barked at the other alpha before wagging his tail teasingly. Larc was about to say something but Carl got to him before the older lycanthrope could by flicking the rock type pokemon onto the head. “Cut that out.” Carl said patiently. Rip-Raff made a grumbling whine within the back of his throat before placing his head down onto the beta’s shoulder.
Nothing more was said between the three lycanthropes as Carl and Larc finished their dinner, washed their plates in the bucket of water Rip-Raff had brought in for them, and then headed to bed. Pulling themselves onto the single king size futon that Carl had purchased Larc and Rip-Raff laid on either side of Carl before turning away from their beta and then drifting off to sleep. Carl whined as he turned his head to look between both of his alphas before smiling sadly and then closing his eyes for the night.
It took several more days before Larc finally found work for himself, though his opportunity had come by way of sheer luck as, while walking down the street, the were-lucario passed by a mechanic’s garage where two people were arguing. Thanks to his advanced hearing Larc could hear everything going on and from what he could understand of the conversation it seemed that the manager of the place wasn’t too pleased with something one of her workers had done. This became quite clear to everyone on the street when the door to the garage opened just in time for a young man to run out as a heavy wrench flew past his head.
“AND DON’T COME BACK!!!” a red headed woman shouted while literally seething from head to toe.
“That’s one way to give someone their walking papers.” Larc said with a chuckle.
“And who the hell are you?!” the woman asked, her green eyes cutting deep into the lycanthrope as she attempted to stare him down.
“The name’s Larc. You looking for a new mechanic?” he said while crossing his arms and looking down at the shorter human with a cocksure smirk.
For a minute the redhead said nothing as she stared at him with a calculating look.
“You know anything about cars? Specifically how not to blow an engine?”
“You’re in luck, that was something I was learning right before I left college.” Larc chuckled while slowly increasing his breathing.
The redhead looked the lycanthrope up and down twice, her green orbs quickly processing something that only she knew before she turned and then waved for Larc to follow after her.

“Thanks for giving me this chance, Ashley.” Larc said as he shook his grease stained hands with new boss.
Apparently the redhead was the owner of the garage and was in need of a new mechanic since the one she had recently fired didn’t seem to know his asshole from a carburetor, something for which Larc thankfully knew much. The small test that the young woman had given him in the form of fixing some basic tubes on the underside of a four door car currently still within the backside of the garage had been enough for Ashley to hire him on, if only for a trial period.
“You seem like you have some idea of how to handle yourself so the least I can do is give you a chance to screw up.” The young woman chuckled before patting the other on the shoulder. “And please call me Ash, I hate my full name.”
“Ok, Ash. So, when is my first day on the job going to be?” Larc asked while following after her as she lead him into the interior of the building.
“Today, why do you think I had you work on that mess over there?” Larc actually gaped at that since he had honestly thought that Ash had been testing him to see if he could back up his bullshit. To think that he was going to start working now… “Don’t get nervous. For today I just want you to watch me work on that old jalopy over there that was brought in by Mrs. Henderson.” Ash hiked a thumb behind her towards the car that was currently raised up onto the lift.
“What’s the story on it?” Larc asked as he looked over the slightly beaten up blue two door that bore wounds more reminiscent of battle scars than regular dents.
“Once upon a time Mrs. Henderson used to be a racer for an annual racing competition within Unova, but now that she’s gotten older she still thinks that she can race...despite the fact that her car will actually start crying whenever it goes over fifty-five miles per hour.”
“That explains the dents.” Larc said while whistling slightly.
“Oh that’s not even the good part,” Ash said while walking forward towards her office. After following behind his new boss Larc soon found himself very thankful for the a/c blowing within the room as the heat from outside was two seconds away from making him pant like the lucario that he was. “She still thinks that she’s a celebrity and so don’t be surprised if she comes in and starts talking your ears off about her racing days and how ‘the younger generation always seems to move so slow as compared to how she did when in her youth.’” Larc chuckled as the redhead finished speaking in a withered tone that made her sound like the stereotypical grandma.
“I think I can handle one little old lady.” the look Ashley gave him actually made the lycanthrope pull back a bit.
However instead of saying anything the young woman moved over to a table filled with various papers and other knick-knacks Larc noted how Ash gracefully booted up her computer while sweeping her legs onto her work station.
“I’ll need to see some ID and get you to fill out some paperwork, you have a couple of hours?”
“I’ve got all day.” Larc chuckled before pulling up one of the chairs over in the corner of the room.
