Audrey, Out On The Town

Before their rescue at the hands of Donnie and The Four Horsemen, Dr. Jose Chavez and Audrey enjoyed a handful of supervised visits throughout the city of Telivima, to see the sights, shop and otherwise enjoy themselves. One of the few possessions that he was able to save during their escape was a small camera with a handful of pictures of himself and his beloved Audrey. Jose, grateful for every day he has with the red panda AdvAnimal, loves to take photos of his "pumpkin", and his mate happily poses for him to this day.

She's absolutely beautiful. I like the fact that you make her front black like real red pandas. So many people make it white. I also love her outfit.

I tend to write anthropomorphic characters based on reality, to a point, and when I commission artists, I can be politely insistent. :3

While I will admit to pushing the limits of reality with some of my characters, I do prefer them to be as close to believable as possible. At this time, I've got four characters that don't meet that criterion, Amanda Fuchs, Bertha Karhu, Penny Wydra, and Jinse Xionmao. Amanda is a tiger-striped red fox vixen; Bertha is a polar/grizzly bear mix with brown and white stripes encircling her body like a barber pole; Penny is a raccoon/otter mix, and Jinse is a giant panda with golden yellow fur where pandas are normally white. But, other than those four, I can't think of another character that doesn't look like their ancestral feral species.

Already far more creative than me. The closest thing to abnormal I ever did was Zakera, the feline with pink and white fur and cyan stripes.

Now, if someone asks me to create a creature for a story, I can easily do that. It also helps if I write a story that takes place on another world. You should see some of the creatures I created for my "Marooned on Tashoo" story. While I sometimes base the animals on Earth animals and then make creative changes to make the creature unique, I normally try to think of an animal that's entirely unique.
