My dragon has a few books in his horde too! So it's perfectly understandable.

Love the design! I have a dragon that inhabits a library myself, so this piece really speaks to me. Great job!!

Dragon: Humans don't hoard things?
Human: Sometimes, I guess. Do you have a big pile of gold somewhere?
Dragon: Absolutely not! Those gold hoarding dragons really give us a bad name!
Human: So what do you hoard?
Dragon: ...books...
Human: But you're a fire dragon.
Dragon: I know! find these poor abandoned books, but I can't even read them because I just know I'll tear it or burn it
*The human runs off and grabs an armful of books, before coming back to sit by the dragon*

I created a Role Playing Game that had intelligent Dragons I renamed Ginn. They cast spells by clicking their claws together on one 'hand' and like reading books for the knowledge inside - they eat gemstones as food, usually one about the size of a small watermelon-sized egg once a week, Adventurers in my game seem to miss the point on why a Ginn has a Hoard. It is his/her food storage, sort of like a pantry. They only like gold to keep Ghosts from bothering them since gold is an impenetrable brick wall (in my game) to the ethereal zone passage.
