In this drawing, I wanted to do a large figure from the back side. The head shouldn't be circular. The arms look weird and way too long. The feminine curves could be better. The legs could be better. Even the butt looks weird. It isn't the dreaded double cheeks, it still could use a little bit more improvement. This drawing I'm not happy with at all. Still, at least I know there is room for improvement.
I did 2 drawings in my sketchbook 5 today, so you get 1 from me and so will deviantart. I did 1 of Andrew Loomis's female stick figures twice. I might have to retry the drawing for a 3rd time. It might be tomorrow, I don't know. The 1st version was crooked. The 2nd version is cleaner, it just isn't how I'd like it to look. A 3rd is a must. I'm still using the foundation sketches, so my drawings do look better than before. I just have to practice a little more to get the feel of the foundation sketches. Its a very slow process. Its very worth it though. It shouldn't be long before I'll be able to do another female furry. I just hope I can get some inspiration before I draw one. Wish me luck. I love to draw the female form.
