Avalanche Sprint - Zeydaan TF 7/7
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Awesome commission by rexequinox
I yelled out in blissful glee as I rocketed through the air. The last few scraps of human clothing falling from my form as the avalanche continued to flow, now beneath me.
I tumbled down, and assumed a safe position, as the avalanche crashed into many fences and perimeters until it finally drew to a complete stop. I landed a small way from the last fence, near a small skiiing village set up a few years ago, that my school had been sent on a trip to.
I looked back upon it, seeing the many rocks and trees lodged in it that could have been my end if my transformation had been any slower. I laughed heartily, regardless if I was spotted by any mountain hikers or my classmates. I was spotted by Darius Jem.
He stood next to me after emerging from a local hut, holding what looked like an explosive detonator. Putting the pieces together, I realised that he might have set off the avalanche.
I didn't growl or threaten him, like many wolves would. I instead shrugged my shoulders over-expressively.
"What the heck was that for, Jem?"
Darius put away the remote and smiled gently.
"I thought you could use a bit of air, Zeydaan."
I tilted my head and raised one of my eyebrows. "I've always seen you in my classes twitching and fidgeting, I know that you always want an excuse to shift around to 'the other guy'."
"I thought I could give you a push, let the beast out for a while."
I sweated nervously, and pointed to the group of my more terrified classmates standing in a nearby building pinned up to the window, either crying, talking, laughing or just staring. "Well... They seem to know now, thanks. And I don't think they'll appreciate that you brought some explosives on a school trip," I said, sarcastically, as one of them slowly took a picture while keeping his jaw dropped.
I felt like changing back out of dignity, but the Professor saw this and held up his hand. "Stick around like that, trust me. If anyone gives you lip, wolfy, they'll answer to me."
I smiled at the man and he ruffled my fur under my neck. I walked off a bit one of the huts. And leant against the walls.
No doubt that someone was going to post pictures of me on social media, rumbling my cover in a viral way, or just losing friends through 'photoshop'. I didn't care. I felt warm and fluffy and free for once in a while.
I just needed some nice music and everything would be perfect.
At that moment, my eyes snapped open and I ran back to Jem.
"Professor Jem, do you happen to have a hairdryer? I've dropped my phone."
