Hah, i think through the few pictures i've drawn that included a bow i've learned more about archery than the the combined 18 or so years before that :D I appreciateyou guys getting so in depth about it since i really try my best to keep everything as close to reality as possible, but commissions usually don't leave too much time for research unfortunately. I'll try to remember all that for the next time if i have to draw someone shooting a bow, though i can't promise that it'll all stick. Usually knowledge like this sticks better when i'm working on something and apply it directly, right now however there unfortunately isn't anything archery related in sight....but i'll do my best trying to remember it nonetheless!

I shoot and craft "primitiv"bows now for over 15ten years now and have done my share of failures.
sometime with catastrophic events "broken Bow damaged string, and so on
If i see a little costructiv push can help why not
