When but a pup, melancholy and too emotional for my own good, the end of what I had thought was love chased me to a secluded place to heal. I went in early February to walk along the beaches at Aransas Pass (Texas -- south along the gulf from Galveston, near Corpus Christi). The sky, a solid and relentless gray, lay across my shoulders like a great cold blanket for the emptiness of my heart. The wind, steady and cold, blew through my thoughts and numbed the pain, yet never really took it away. The surf provided white noise for my ears, to silence the hate-full voices in my head, and I walked the abandoned sands for hours, trying to escape me.

Had this been my soundtrack, there would have been at least one drop of hope that I could cling to. Where this beautiful music lives, love must yet exist. Thank you.

I must admit I'm not familiar with Will Ackerman, will have to look that up. I am very glad the emotion is getting through, though. *whuffles happily*

I'm not good at dealing with negative emotions, so I always try to shove them to the back of my mind, but I live to contradict myself sometimes..
Listening to this sort of proves it. I'm very easily affected by music, and this is no exception.
It's beautiful, but I think I might make myself cry if I keep listening.

grey, the colour that you feel on down days and this music matches prefectly with the mood, sad and not up lifting, not sad enough but enough to make you feel sad,

grey isn't a nice colour, its a colour that only floors or walls should have not furs, but we sometimes feel like grey is there to keep us sane.

Might I ask how you record piano? What software, so on?
