Sword of Kaeranya 001
This is a drawing I made of the sword of the heroine, Kaeranya, from my [i]Blood of Atlantis[/i] series. I sketched it out on paper, then scanned it into Photoshop Elements, cleaned it up, and colored it with my Wacom tablet.
The blade is supposed to be about three feet long, and the pommel about one foot. The prongs on the cross-guard add torsional force in disarming an opponent whilst locked in a parry, and the gemstone is a Doranithonian skygem; which, coincidentally, matches Kaeranya's eyes. The blade was triple-forged of dwarven steel one-thousand years ago, by the master swordsmith Massgrinn Olgrill.
