In Great Britain, there was a young boy with a scar on his forehead asleep under the staircase.
The scar on his forehead was a result of a very dangerous dark wizard that the Dracos guards, Matty and Nathan were after, along with a few certain wizards were with them. They soon brought him to a little house when he was a young one and this young boy, was named, Harry James Potter.
"Up!" said a sharp voice knocking on his door, "Now!"
Harry flinched and gently stretches his arms out. Gently grabbing his glasses as he wakes up
Then there was a loud thumping as dust from the stairs falls on his head. "Wake up Potter! We're going to the zoo!" shouted the voice of Harry's bully of a cousin, Dudley.
Harry sighed and rolled his eyes, he kept on wondering why he had to live with his loons of a second family, all they do is just like he's non-existent and treat him badly.
And Dudley was the worst of them all as he always beat Harry up whenever things didn't go his way or whenever he got angry or he just felt like it.
Harry then gently grabbed his glasses and slid them on. As he tried to open the door, Dudley rammed the door right into Harry.
Later, they went to the zoo where Dudley was teasing a big python.
But so far, the python was just annoyed. Even Harry could sense it. Harry then turned to the python, "You know, i know how you feel...being locked up in a cage. It's no fun at all." Harry sighed.
The python lifted its head and winked. Then it spoke. "No problem," it hissed, "I'm used to it."
Harry's widen in shock as the snake understood him, "Y-You can understand me?:
"Of course I can," said the snake, "And I can understand you too." Off to the side, there was a red headed boy with glasses and he too heard their conversation, but he pretended like he didn't hear.
"Amazing...I-I wish i can escape this life like you. And, live somewhere i can be accepted."
"Maybe you will... you see that red head over there?" asked the snake, "If you talk to him, I'm sure he's the friendly sort."
Harry turned around and then saw the red head, he smiled shyly, "Hi."
The red looked up and blushed. "Oh, hi," he said waving a little, "I'm Terry."
"I'm Harry." Harry introduced.
Just then, Dudley rushed over to see the active python and shoved Harry to the ground. Terry, looking shocked, marched up to Dudley and pushed him back. "Hey watch where you're shoving, you big palooka!" he snapped at the big mass.
Harry was shocked as well that someone stood up for him.
"Frankly," added Terry to Dudley, "The way I see it, the only time I saw a head like yours was in a cabbage patch!"
Dudley got so mad, he tried to throw a punch at Terry. Harry, who was watching, felt annoyed and angry at how rude his cousin was. And, out of nowhere, the glass window of the pythons exhibit vanished.
"Hey, Diego, here's lunch!" said Terry as he pushed Dudley into the tank.
Dudley screamed and squealed like a pig as he fell into the tank. Harry couldn't stop himself from giggling as he watched the whole thing.
The python grinned as he snapped at Dudley playfully before slithering out of the tank. "Thanks," he hissed to Harry. Terry winked at the snake and the snake winked back.
Harry smiled and winked back at the snake.
"Nice trick you did," said Terry as he helped Harry to his feet. Then he saw Vernon coming. "Uh oh," muttered the red head, "I hate to run and go, but I'll see you later... hopefully. Just tell him they were cleaning the glass... bye!" He quickly ran off and disappeared just as Dudley found out the glass was in place again.
Harry nodded but knew he was in big trouble, cause he winced at the look his Uncle gave him.
Terry felt guilty for deserting Harry like that. "I've got to do something... I know!" he said and ran off down an alley.
Meanwhile, Vernon dragged Harry into the house pulling his ear and growled, "What happened?"
Harry gritted his teeth and shuddered, "I-I don't know! I-It just happened! L-Like magic!"
Vernon shoved the boy into under the staircase and locked him inside and growled, "There's no such thing as magic!"
Harry sighed and sat on his bed, pulling his legs up to his chest, feeling tears fall down his cheeks.
Meanwhile, Terry was talking to his father, Arthur Weasley. "I know it was him," he said, "We've just got to do something to help him. Can't you tell the Minister or something?"
Unaware to them, Terry's mischievous impish twin brothers Fred and George were smirking playfully as they heard in the conversation. "I'll try my best Ter, but what you said to me, there's no doubt it really is him. I better let the Ministry along with the Dracos kings know this immediately."
"But it's true. I really did meet Harry Potter," said Terry, "He told me so himself!"
Arthur held his hands up, "I believe you Terry. That's why I must have Errol send a message to the Ministry and King Nathan immediately." He whistled and, their barred owl Errol soon came in. Errol was the Weasley families owl, but....he wasn't very coordinated as expected, he crashed into the window, making the Weasley patriarch wince and shook his head with amusement. He wrote two very quick letters to both the Ministry and King Nathan. That's when Fred and George finally made their appearance known, wrapping their arms around Terry's shoulders, "So, it really is true brother dearest.." Fred began, "That Harry Potter is the real deal?" George finished.
Terry growled as he grabbed both their ears and yanked them down. He might have been shorter than him, but they were deathly afraid of him when he got angry. "One more taunt from you two, and I'm breaking all your favorite joke toys," he growled, "And yes, it's true. Scar and all."
The twins gulped nervously, they didn't mess with Terry at all. And, he was also the only one who could tell the twins apart. "Y-Y-Yes Terry!" They both whimpered.
"That's better," said Terry as he shoved them away, "And I love you too, dear goofs."
The twins sheepishly grinned and wriggled away to their room. "We love you too." They said. The only Weasley's who weren't at the Burrow for the moment were the eldest siblings Bill and Charlie. Well, Charlie was away at Romania working with dragons, and Bill was away for reasons unknown.
Terry loved his two older brothers but he wished they were there with him.
Meanwhile, another wizard family had gotten word of the news. This one was known as the Malfoys. The most richest and powerful family in all of the Wizard world. The patriarch Lucius, who was also part of the Ministry, his wife and queen, Narcissa, and their three sons, Aries, Draco, and Leo.
Leo was with Aries trying to hover on a broom stick. "Am I doing this right, Aries?" asked Leo.
Aries chuckled and shook his head. "You are doing it right Leo, but you have to make sure to grip your broom nice and tight, so you don't lose control, and make sure you balance yourself, don't wanna slip."
Leo nodded but went wide eyed as he found himself leaning over and hovering upside down. "Oh, rats!" he groaned.
Aries giggled and shook his head, "Not quite there yet Leo, but you'll get there." Soon, their brother Draco finally came to them, with that usual confidence of his, "My dear brothers." He said.
"What do you want, Blonde?" muttered Leo.
Draco hmphed at his younger brother, sure they all loved each other. But, sometimes they got on each others nerves. Draco held his gaze, "Father has requested our presence." Aries smirked, "I wonder Daddy Dearest has for us?"
"Leo cried out as he fell off his broom. "Since when has Dad ever had time for us?" muttered Leo.
"Ummm, since now." Aries joked. Draco rolled his eyes but smirked. They three siblings soon walked into the manor to join their father and their mother. Lucius smirked at his three sons, "My dear boys. Soon enough all three of you will carry on our legacy at Hogwarts, Aries.." Aries smiled and nods, "You will be starting your 3rd year, now, you'll have Draco by your side once he starts..." Since Draco was now becoming of age, the middle Malfoy was now gonna start Hogwarts with his brother, but Leo was still behind since he wasn't of age yet. "Draco, i'm hoping you better get to Slytherin like your brother, and show that you two are the most respected wizards. Now, onto you, my youngest.." Lucius turned to Leo.
"I know," groaned Leo, "I got it: 'One day, the torch will be passed on to you, blah blah blah!' Well what if I don't want to be a Malfoy? What if I don't want to be a mean wizard like you?"
Draco and Aries winced, sure their brother was way different then them, but they still wished he would take his family heritage seriously. Lucius growled and stamped his cane, making Draco and Aries jump, "You will watch your tone Leonidus. And by the time you will get to Hogwarts, you will be a Slytherin and follow in my footsteps and, Draco will watch over you, since these will be Aries' last few years." Their father warned. Aries and Draco gulped, they hated seeing their brother and father argue.
"Well, when I get to Hogwarts, I won't have Blonde watching me, because I'm gonna be Gryffondor!" said Leo defiantly, "And you may yell at me all you want, but you're nothing but a villain and a coward!"
Lucius growled and went to scream but Narcissa glared at him, "Lucius!" Lucius held his tongue and snarled, stalking off. Narcissa sighed and gently kneeled to her youngest son, "Leo, I know it's gonna be tough but i'll fully support you no matter what." Narcissa said, she loved her sons very much.
Leo sighed and hugged his mother. "Thanks mom," he said softly. He and Narcissa were just as close as he was with Aries, but Draco was always putting him down every chance he got.
Aries smiled while Draco just crossed his arms. Even though Draco doesn't show it, he does care for Leo just like Aries cares for both of them. Narcissa smiled at her eldest son who smiled happily back. "Just remember my little ram, now matter how old you get, you're still my young Aries, now, make me proud okay?" Aries smiled, "I will Mom. I promise." "And same thing with you Draco." Draco nods with confidence, "Yes mother."
Leo snorted with laughter at Draco. "So... Blonde," said Leo in a teasing matter, "When are you going hang with us in the muggle world?"
Draco snorted and crossed his arms, "What does it matter if we hang with muggles? Besides, do you really see me, hanging out with muggles, no way." He retorted. Aries sighed, he knew their brother shared their fathers beliefs on muggles. "Draco, c'mon, it can't be that bad. Besides, this could be our last chance for us to hang out together before you and me go to Hogwarts, please? For me." Aries asked. Draco knew he couldn't resist his older brother. Aries cared for both of his brothers. "Fine, but if a muggle gets too close me, I am done."
"You say it but you don't really mean it... By the way, how was your pudding at lunch?" asked Leo as he winked at Aries. "It was fine. Why?" asked Draco. "Just as I thought," said Leo, "The expiration date on the milk carton was meaningless."
Draco felt his face turn paler than it ever did and felt his stomach growl uncomfortably, "E-Excuse me!" He ran to the bathroom. Aries did giggle a little but shook as his head as much as he loved his younger brothers, sometimes they did get on his nerves even though he didn't show it.
"Wait till I tell him that the pudding he ate really was pudding," giggled Leo, "Boy, I never thought I'd see Draco turn green."
Aries just rolled his eyes and smirked, sometimes Leo was too sneaky for his own good. Even though he won't be joining Aries and Draco soon, they knew their little brother was gonna be quite the student next year. "Yeah, anyway, i better get going. I'm meeting up with my friends at Diagon Alley so we can shop for our books and get our stuff, along with both mine and Draco's fittings."
"Can't I come with you?" asked Leo, "You never take me with you and... I miss you so much." He puckered up his lower lip and made sad eyes. If there was one trick Leo knew that would always work on Aries it was the Puppy-dog-pout face.
Aries smiled, "Of course little bro. Besides when you come next year, its you, me, and Draco. The Malfoy trio, together. Besides, i wanna share these last three years with you two before i graduate." Then Aries' owl, Fox, a barn owl, squeaked as he flew through the window. "The Daily Prophet?" He wondered.
Leo hugged his oldest brother as he said, "I love you, Ari." He knew Aries always blushed whenever he called him by his nickname. And somehow, Aries didn't seem to mind as he hugged Leo back.
Aries smiled and hugged his youngest brother back. Then looked at the Daily Prophet, "Ugh, I wonder what's going on?" Then his eyes widen in shock, "Holy Circe! H-Harry Potter?!" He dropped the paper in complete astonishment.
"Who?" asked Leo confused and he gasped as he looked at the paper too.
"Draco!" Aries shouted, running up to their middle brothers room, "You gotta see this!" Draco combed his hair and looked at the paper and felt his eyes widen. "N-N-No way! So, the rumors of Potter are true?!" He asked. Aries nodded in a hurry.
Leo pulled Aries to the side. "We can't show Dad," he whispered, "He'd probably flip when he hears who's coming to Hogwarts."
Aries turned to his brothers and nods, "Right. Brother pact, no one tells Dad about this. Understood?" Draco nods. Aside from their father, Draco did listen to Aries if it was necessary. "Good, we're all in agreement."
But Draco had his fingers crossed behind his back and the other two didn't know it.
"Alright, well, Draco, me and Leo are gonna be at Diagon Alley, and, tomorrow, you better get ready for your own fittings, or you can have one of my old robes," Aries teased making Draco look appalled, "No way! Your robes look like they haven't seen the light of day in years!" He retorted. Aries just chuckled and ruffled his brothers slicked back hair. Draco squealed and growled, "Hey! Watch the hair!" He barked.
"Can I have your old robes?" asked Leo, "They'll remind me of you whenever you go." He snuggled closer to Aries. Between Aries and Draco, Leo was more closer to Aries.
Aries smiled, "Of course you can. Besides, i was planning to give them to you anyway." He chuckled. Draco snorted, "Only you would gain our elder brothers robes before you even start." He sniffed. Aries rolled his eyes and just smiled, wrapping an arm around Draco and pulled his brothers in, "I know we're different guys, but you two are still my brothers, and i love you both. I wouldn't replace you two over anything." He said honestly. Draco felt his cheeks blush, "R-Really?"
"Well... we would replace your hair, Blondie," giggled Leo, "Then we'd have to change your name to something like... 'Ragamuffin'."
Draco looked absolutely appalled and held his hair, glaring annoyedly at his younger brother, "No! No! No! You are not touching my hair!" He then chased Leo, yelling at him. Aries just watched and smiled, "I'm the luckiest boy ever." Meanwhile, back with Harry, things weren't so lucky for him. He sighed as laid there unhappy. But, yet, things would turn around. A great horned owl soon flew in and hooted as it delivered a letter.
It slipped the letter inside to Harry just in time for him to hide it before the bird was chased out the door.
Harry soon looked around and prayed that his relatives didn't see him then he slowly opened it
But Vernon quickly opened the door and tore it up before locking Harry back in again.
Harry sighed, nothing seemed like anything was gonna right for him.
At last, the time had come to take action when there was a pounding at the Dursley's door.
Harry's ears perked up and he turned at the sound
Then the door fell to reveal the tallest man Harry had ever seen. "Sorry about that," he said as he leaned down, picked up the door and put it back in place.
Harry felt his eyes widen in complete shock, "Whoa..."
"Well, I thought I'd give you this," said Hagrid, "It seems your friend Terry is a very persistent young man." He smiled and winked at Harry.
Harry felt his smile return at the thought of Terry. "Aww, how sweet."
But Vernon tried to stop it. However, he was no match for the giant. "Name's Hagrid," he said to Harry.
"Hello Hagrid." Harry smiled, "It's nice to meet you."
"Likewise," said Hagrid, "And now's as good a time to tell you... you're a wizard, Harry."
Harry felt his whole body froze but it was in excitement and wonder, "I-I'm a what?"
"A wizard," said Hagrid, "And a thumping good one I'd wager... Once you've trained up a bit, of course."
Harry had never felt more happier than he had ever felt, "Oh my gosh, this could be a breakthrough for me!"
"He won't be going I tell you!" barked Vernon, "We swore when we took him in we'd put an end to all this rubbish."
"Rubbish?! You're crazy." Hagrid protested. "Never listen to Muggles, Harry." Harry tilted his head in confusion, he heard that word from Terry. "Muggles?" He asked. "What we call nonmagical humans in the Wizard world."
Vernon growled in annoyance.
"You're parents were wizards too, Harry. But, your mother was raised by Muggles, so she's a different breed of wizard. A muggle born wizard."
"My sister was nothing more than a freak!" snapped Harry's Aunt Petunia, "And then, if you please, she went and got herself blown up! And now, we're landed with you!"
Harry felt his heart shatter at what he heard and narrowed his eyes. But, Hagrid heard enough, but smirked as he pointed at Dudley's rear and shot magic at him, turning him into a pig
The Dursley's cried in horror and Dudley went "Wee! Wee! Wee!" all the way to his room.
Harry giggled hard at seeing this. "Well, Harry, we better get going. Don't wanna stay here forever do ya?" Hagrid asked. Harry smiled, "No way." He followed Hagrid out of the house.
Later, Hagrid showed Harry his letter from Hogwarts showing that the young boy was accepted.
Harry was smiling brightly, never before had he felt so happy. "This could be the best day of my life. I'm finally going to a school that can accept me."
"Oh, it'll be even more better," said Hagrid winking, "Trust me."
Harry blinked curiously, "Really?"
"Yep," said Hagrid as they entered a place called "The Leaky Cauldron".
Harry looked around in curiousity. Around there were people and anthros who walked casually and some of them wore elegant robes.
"Harry!" called a voice and there was Terry waving to him.
Harry smiled happily, running to him, "Terry!"
The red head met Harry half way and hugged him. "I missed you, bud," said Terry, "I'm so glad you're alright."
Harry smiled happily and snuggled up in Terry's arms, "Me too. I'm happy you're here!"
Terry looked up at the giant. "Hi Hagrid," said the boy with a smile.
"Hello Terry! Young Harry here's gonna join ya at Hogwarts." He smiled. Harry's eyes brightened more, "Y-You're a student too Terry?"
"Of course," said Terry, "I asked my father if I could go shopping with you and Hagrid and he said it was alright."
Harry smiled but looked around. "Is this the shop?" He asked. "No Harry, this is the Leaky Cauldron. It's both a motel and restaurant for wizards like us. The real shop is behind the wall, Diagon Alley."
"Come on, Harry," said Terry, "You'll love it."
They all walked up to the side of the room and slowly came up to a brick wall.
Then Hagrid tapped on the wall and it opened up to a vast alley full of witches and wizards.
Harry felt his heart beat in excitement at the vast shops, witches, wizards and animals running around.
"Wait, before we buy anything, we'll need to stop by Gringotts," said Terry, "Right Hagrid?"
"Of course. You'll have to get yourself some money Harry." They soon arrived at Gringotts bank, which was full of goblins
Terry grimaced at the sight of their scowling faces.
Harry also looked nervous at seeing them look down at him. A few minutes later they arrived at Harry's family vault.
After some negotiating, Hagrid managed to get both Harry and Terry's keys.
The vault opened and Harry's eyes widen at the amount of money he had. "Whoa...."
"Harry, I didn't know you were this rich," gasped Terry.
"M-Me neither!" Harry squeaked. "T-This is all mine?"
When they arrived at Terry's, it wasn't as big as Harry's.
Harry tilted his head curiously, wondering why Terry's was smaller than his
"Our family's not that rich," said Terry blushing, "But we get along somehow."
Harry smiled, "I can give you some of mine if you want Terry, think of it as a token of my gratitude for helping me stand up to Dudley."
"Thanks," said Terry smiling, "That's very kind of you." Later, they were at Madam Milkins when they saw a blonde haired boy getting fitted for a robe.
And at first sight, Harry felt his heart beat against his chest. The way his hair was nicely slick back, those stormy grey eyes shining. Harry stood next to him while he was being fitted too.
It was then Terry scowled at the blonde. "Well, if it isn't Bleach for brains," he said, "What brings you here, Malfoy?"
Draco felt his eye twitch and huffed, "And, Weasley, why am I not surprised to see you? Hmph, commoners." He snorted. Harry looked confused looking between Malfoy and Terry. "I'm here for my robe fittings if you must know Weasley, i'm attending Hogwarts with Aries this year." Draco said importantly.
"Yeah, I know your measurements already, Malfoy," chuckled Terry, "Waist: 62" wide. And head size: 32" thick!"
Draco gasped in complete horror and felt his cheeks blush deeply, growling annoyedly. Harry gently glared, "Terry be nice." He chastised. He smiled and held Draco's hands. Draco felt his own heart beat at feeling Harry's hands hold his, "I'm Harry by the way, Harry Potter." Draco secretly smirked but he smiled, "Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. Heir to the house of Malfoy, and, soon to be top Slytherin once my brother Aries graduates." Draco said, puffing his chest proudly.
"Listen, Drugo!" snapped Terry getting in the way, "If you think you're gonna make Harry a dark wizard like your old geezer of a father, then you've completely cracked your cauldron!
"Like you could do any better Weasley! Still living in that dirt farm of that you and your family call a home?! And, don't even think of getting between me and Harry! He knows where he'll lie." He smirked and held Harry by his waist, making the other boy squeak and blush in surprise by Draco's forwardness, "With me."
"Ha! Then if he's with you, then you won't mind if I look at you from all angles," said Terry walked around pretending to admire Draco's looks to throw him off guard. The moment Draco wasn't looking, Terry picked up a pin and he rammed it into Malfoy's bottom making the boy yell and run into a rack of robes making Madam Milkin scold him. "If there's one thing you should know about Draco Malfoy, is that he's a big bully," said Terry.
Draco rubbed his bottom and whimpered, growling angrily and muttering. Harry smiled a little but turned to Terry, "Really, but, what about his brother, Aries?'
"Oh, Aries is nice and so is Leo," said Terry, "It's Draco you really have to watch out for."
Harry gently watched Draco but smiled nonetheless, "I'll keep that in mind. Hey, Terry, do you have siblings of your own?" Harry asked as he was measured.
"Oh, don't get me started," groaned Terry, "I've got too many to count."
Harry giggled, then heard Draco continuing to mumble and grumble angrily to himself. Then, a chuckle was heard, "Well well little brother, already picking fights are we?" A voice asked. Draco pouted and rolled his eyes. A much older blonde walked in, with two fox earrings hanging from his ears, a fox necklace and a pair of jeans and red dress-shirt with the Slytherin emblem.
"Hi, Aries," called Terry with a smile as he waved at the older Malfoy, much to Draco's annoyance.
Aries smiled and ruffled his little brothers slick back hair making him even more annoyed, but just ignored it. "Hey Terry. Sorry if my little brother is causing trouble." Then he smiled at Harry, "Now, who's this?" He asked. "Oh! I-I'm Harry. Harry Potter, nice to meet you Aries." He said. Aries smiled, "Well, guess the rumours were true, you really are transferring to Hogwarts."
Terry smiled and he couldn't help but notice the connection both Harry and Aries were having with each other at first sight.
Aries smiled, "Well, i'll be looking forward to seeing ya Harry. I think, we're gonna be fast friends. And, don't mind my brother, sure he may act all cold and like our dad, but if you get to know him better, he may like you. Anyway, we better go Draco, dads expecting us." He said. Draco huffed, "Good. I was getting tired of standing here anyway." He snorted. Aries giggled. "High maintenance much little brother?' He teased. "Oh go kiss a unicorn!" Draco muttered.
"Oh Draco!" called Terry, "Don't look now, but I think someone stole your blush!" Aries smiled at Terry's comment as it clearly had an affect on Draco.
Draco just grumbled and stalked off. "Well, i better go. Oh and say hi to the twins for me Terry." Aries smiled, then grabbed Draco, making him squeak. "C'mon little bro, before Daddy Dearest gets annoyed for waiting." Aries smiled, throwing his brother over his shoulder, Draco growled in complete embarrassment, putting a hand on his cheek, "I can't wait till you graduate and i'll be the prince of Slytherin..." He muttered. Now leaving Terry and Harry to themselves. Harry was smiling happily while he watched Aries.
"Oh, Draco will be a prince, but it won't be of Slytherin," chuckled Terry to Harry with a soft chuckle.
Harry just smiled and giggled. "Yeah." Later on, Harry got his robes done and, to his surprise, he got a beautiful snowy owl as his familiar. He gently kneeled to her and smiled, "Hey there girl." He said sweetly.
The bird twittered and nuzzled his hand gently.
Harry smiled and gently brushed her chest. "I can tell very quick, that you and i are gonna be really good friends." He nuzzled his nose with her beak.
And later on, they went off to get their wands. Terry was first and after a few strokes, he managed to win one.
But, since Harry was special, he had different choices until, there was one that somehow called out to him.
"It's very curious that you should get this wand... when its brother gave you that scar," said Mr. Ollivander, the wand maker.
Harry felt his eyes widen and heart stop. "W-Who owned that wand?"
Terry looked at Ollivander with concern. "Uh... I think that's a question best saved for later, Harry," he intervened.
Harry frowned gently but nodded, knowing it could help later to learn.
Later, the two boys were with Hagrid and it was very silent as Terry had a small panther cub with him.
But, Harry just couldn't hold it in, "Guys, w-who was the person who killed my parents that night, I need to know." He pleaded.
Terry looked around and he nodded at Hagrid. "I think it's time he was told the truth," he said softly.
Hagrid nods, "Harry, who killed your parents...I can't say his name because. He's feared by many wizards throughout. And, he's the most powerful dark wizard of them all. He goes by the Dark Lord. But, his name...is Voldemort.."
Terry shivered when he heard that name. "Voldemort?" asked Harry curiously.
"Never say his name Harry. It strikes fear in many of the wizards throughout the world. He led an evil cult of his followers, The Death Eaters to your home, he managed to kill your parents and planned on finishing, you, but miraculously, you defeated him and all that he left on you was that scar.."
"Me?" asked Harry, "He tried... to kill me?"
"Yes...he believes that one day, a wizard more powerful than him, will finally stand up to him and destroy him. But. You survived, you are the boy that lived.."
"And you can be assured that everyone will know your name, Harry," said Terry.
Harry gently smiled at that, but, he couldn't help but feel troubled. Next morning, the day had finally come. Harry was now gonna go to Hogwarts. Carrying Hedwig's cage next to him and his trunk, Harry was feeling both excited and nervous.
Terry was with his family with his little panther cub with him.
Harry then waved to him and joined him quickly.
The panther cub mewled softly and he tried to paw at Hedwig.
Hedwig squeaked and twittered. Harry chuckled, "Be nice Hedwig."
"Now, Bagheera, don't tease Hedwig like that," said Terry to the cub, who gave the cutest face anyone ever seen.
Harry smiled and then looked around, "So, where is the train station we're supposed to be at?" The twins then popped up behind Harry making him jump in surprise.
"Platform Nine and three quarters," said Terry, "Follow us."
Harry nods. The twins smirk, "So, you really are Harry Potter. I'm Fred." Fred happily smiled, "And i'm George." George giggled. "A pleasure to meet you." They said together. Harry blushed and smiled, "Pleasure to meet you too."
"Brothers," said Terry sternly, "Be nice. Ron! Come on!"
The youngest male in the Weasley clan ran quickly, carrying a rat cage along with Percy, the 3rd eldest Weasley behind Charlie walked calmly.
At once, Harry, Ron, and Terry ran through a wall and made it onto a special platform.
Harry was amazed at what he was seeing, "Wow..."
"Come on, let's get on board," said Terry.
Everyone wasted no time and got on board. Harry sat with Terry and Ron. Though, he wondered where Aries was.
Soon, the oldest Malfoy came up and smiled when he saw Harry, Terry, and Ron.
"What up Weasleys?" He chuckled, flopping next to Harry, and wrapping an arm around him, making him squeak in surprise. Ron chuckled, well he didn't like Draco as much, he trusted Aries and Leo enough. "Not much Aries."
"So, how's the Royal Pain of a brother of yours?" asked Terry still teasing Draco even more.
Aries chuckled and kept Harry close, unknowingly snuggling against the eldest Malfoy. "Hey, that's my little brother you're talking about. But, he's still a little annoyed that i might steal Harry from him." He laughed. But then Ron asked, "So, Harry...do you really have...the scar?" Aries perked up as Harry gently moved his hair aside and showed the scar. "Wicked.." Ron gasped. Aries narrowed his eyes at the scar but said nothing. Knowing his fathers history, but Aries didn't care about his fathers history, thinking it was best to keep quiet.
Just then, a refreshment Trolley witch came up and peaked in. "Anything off the Trolley, dears?" she asked.
Aries gently shook his head, "No thanks." But Ron and Harry eagerly took anything they can get. Aries chuckled, "Heh, just wait till you get to go to Hogsmead in your 3rd year."
"Hogsmeade?" asked Terry, "I've heard of that place... Oh, Aries, I never told you how I first met Harry. We met at a muggle zoo and I was standing up to his dimwit of a cousin. He was bullying poor Harry.
Aries felt his eyes widen in shock, "Oh my god. No way."
"Yeah," said Terry, "His cousin was probably twice Harry's size, but I stood up for him." So, Terry went on and on and they all laughed at the names Terry called Dudley.
Aries was laughing hard but was also surprised about how Harry had learned Accidental Magic and, spoke to snakes. He smirked a little as he watches Harry and Ron talk to each other, "I think this year's gonna be quite a great one with Harry around. I just hope he doesn't run into my dad. I can understand Draco, but...I really hope my father doesn't get himself involved in this." Aries sighed, he couldn't keep a single boyfriend because of his father.
But somehow, Harry felt different than all the others. Could he be crushing on a first year?
Aries then gently shook it off. He then smiled and chuckled as Harry snuggled up with him. Ron giggled, "Aww, you look so cute together." He teased. Aries blushed and cleared his throat.
Terry smiled but then a young girl poked her head in. "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one," she said.
"Ummm, not that I can think of." Aries said. Harry shook his head in agreement.
"Oh, are you doing magic?" she asked Ron, who had his wand out, "Let's see then."
Ron rolled his eyes and turned to his rat Scabbers. Trying to turn him yellow, but, it just left him the same. "Well...guess I gotta work the kinks out." Ron said sheepishly. Aries and Harry raised their eyebrows, as if to say, 'You think?'
"Are you sure that's a real spell?" asked Hermione, "Because I know a few spells myself and they always work for me." She pointed her wand at Harry's glasses and they were instantly mended.
"Whoa...." Harry squeaked.
"You're Harry Potter, aren't you?" asked the young girl, "I'm Hermione Granger."
"Yes i am." Harry smiled. "I'm Aries. Aries Malfoy." Aries said. "I'm Ron Weasley." Ron said with his mouthful. Aries grimaced. "ugh. Don't talk with your mouthful."
Terry scowled at Ron and slapped his brother on the back of the head. "Mind your manners!" he snapped at Ron.
Ron blushed and sheepishly gulped, "Y-Yes Terry."
"So sorry, Ma'am," said Terry bowing his head to Hermione.
"None taken." Then turned to Harry and Ron, "You might wanna get your robes on. We're nearing the station."
When Granger left, Terry got up and gave Aries a hug. "See you later," he said before the older Malfoy hugged him and Harry back.
Harry felt his cheeks heat up in a blush when Aries hugged him and smiled shyly, adjusting his glasses. "See ya Aries." He said. "See you later Harry, and in case Draco gives you any trouble or flirts with ya too much, just come to me." He winked. He walked off. "Well, at least there's one Malfoy we can trust." Ron said.
"And as for his bleached out brother, Draco, just leave him to me," said Terry winking, "I'll show him a trick or two."
Harry smiled in thanks. The first years including Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco, all joined Hagrid as they sat on the boats, approaching Hogwarts castle. Harry's eyes widen, "Whoa....I think i'm gonna love it here."
"It's even bigger than I imagined it," said Terry looking at the castle. Later inside they made their way up the stairs and were met by one of the teachers, Professor McGonagall."
McGonagall began explaining each of the 4 houses and how the whole school worked. Meanwhile, Draco was thinking of a plan of how to make Harry his while Harry thought of Aries.
But Terry was onto him and he glared at the blonde.
Draco huffed and glared back, but just paid no mind.
However, Harry was immune to Draco's suave behavior and soon, they made their way into the great hall.
Then it was time for the sorting. With Hermione making Gryffindor and Draco, into Slytherin with Aries, who smiled and welcomed his brother with a side hug. Now, it was Harry's turn. He felt nervous.
"Hmmm.... Difficult, very difficult," said the hat.
Harry could feel a cold sweat drip down his neck, but didn't let it show.
"Not Slytherin," whispered Harry softly.
"Oh not Slytherin eh...well, even though you show a lot of ambitions and a bit of cunning, yet a hint of bravery is hidden within you...GRYFFINDOR!" Harry sighed in relief.
Everybody cheered, even Aries. He was glad Harry made the right choice, though his heart was secretly longing for him.
Harry could feel that Aries wanted him to be in Slytherin with him, but with Draco around. It was gonna be hard for him to be between the Malfoy brothers, and didn't wanna cause drama between them. Then came Ron and Terry's turn and they were both sorted into Gryffindor with Harry.
Terry smiled and he saw the mixed look on Harry's face. "Don't worry," he said, "You'll see Aries often."
Harry smiled sadly, "I hope so."
Terry smiled and patted Harry on the shoulder and he nudged Harry to show Aries was giving him a small wave.
Harry smiled and waved back, blushing softly. Soon, the headmaster Dumbledore began to explain everything for the 1st years to understand. Then, Harry started to feel nervous at seeing the potions Master and Aries' head of Slytherin house professor Snape notice him. But he ignored it and continued the feast. Both Draco and Aries sighed in happiness as they watched Harry. 'Merlin he's so cute.' They both thought.
But Draco hated Hermione and all the other muggle borns.
Draco narrowed his eyes. 'Filthy mudbloods, they better keep their filthy paws off of Harry.' He thought.
But much to Draco's dismay, Harry was surrounded by them and he looked like he enjoyed it. Draco growled. "Well... if we can't be friends, Potter, then we must be enemies," he thought angrily.
Aries turned to his brother and sighs, knowing where this was gonna go.
It was quite obvious that Aries had won Harry's heart. As for Terry, when it came to Professor Snape, the youngest Weasley didn't know the meaning of the word 'fear' even when it came to the potion's master.
Even Harry felt a bit of nervousness just by looking at Snape. Later that night, the houses were all lead to their dorms.
It was then that Terry and Ron noticed Harry rubbing his forehead whenever he looked up at Snape. "Something wrong, Harry?" asked Ron.
"I-I can't explain it, but, I get this funny feeling whenever i look at Snape, like something weird about him." Harry said.
"Well, confidentially, he's always weird," chuckled Terry in a whisper.
Harry giggled softly and then gently laid on his bed, sighing happily, almost purring like a kitten as he cuddled up in the blankets. "I can't believe i'm finally here." He sighed.
Terry smiled as his panther cub clambered up and snuggled with his human.
Meanwhile with the Malfoy's, Aries was stripping down to get in his pajamas when he saw his brother combing his hair. The older Malfoy lowered his eyes half-lid and sighed, "I know what you're thinking little brother." He said softly.
"What do you mean? Do you expect me to get along with those filthy mudbloods?" snapped Draco.
Aries narrowed his eyes at his brother, he really hated arguing with him. "Draco, I wouldn't expect you get along with them. But, you really need to lose this hatred of yours. And I also know you want Harry for yourself."
"SHUT UP!" snapped Draco, "He had his chance with me! Well, he blew it big time! From now on, this means war!"
Aries flinched with surprise at the anger in Draco's voice. He knew Draco had a temper, but this was taking it too far. Aries glared and growled.
Draco stalked off and he had a picture of Harry set up on his bed, but he just ripped it up and tossed it in the fire.
Aries sighed and shut the door with force, he then slid down and hugged his knees to his chest. He really hated it when he and Draco argued. Aside from him and Leo, Draco was also close to Aries, but as Draco grew up, he became more distant from Aries and became more like their father. Aries sighed and looked at Draco sadly then just walked away.
Just then a letter fell on Aries' lap. It was from Leo and it was to Aries only. It told the oldest Malfoy that their father had hit the last straw with Leo and he'd been kicked out of their house. Luckily, Arthur Weasley was kind enough to take him in.
Aries sighed, he turned to his barn owl, Fox and gently stroked his head. "Our family sure is messed up buddy." He said softly, "Sometimes it's like i don't even know who Draco is anymore." He sighed. But, at least he was happy for Leo to join the Weasleys. He also gave Leo's owl that the youngest Malfoy named Max, some bacon bits. Writing back to him. Aries sighed as he thought of his mothers side of the family, especially his crazy Aunt Bellatrix. He was glad she was locked up in Azkaban. Yet, he did have a bit of a connection with his uncles Rudolphus and Rabastan. He just sighed and laid back, continuing to stroke Fox.
The fox hooted softly to comfort his master.
Aries then closed his eyes and went to sleep, holding Fox close.
The next morning, Terry was sitting with Harry in potions class and they were with Aries too. Terry was glad that he could play first year matchmaker.
Aries was sitting next to a couple of his friends from Slytherin and then sent a smile to Harry who widened his eyes and blushed, looking away shyly, but smiled back.
Just then, they heard the door to the potion's room slam open and Terry turned to see Snape whoosh on in
Aries stood at attention as his head of house walked in. "Alright you dunderheads, there will be no hexing anyone, or shooting spells willy-nilly all over the place." He said dryly.
"Or going all snooty tooty like Draco Muttonhead," added Terry making Draco grow furious.
Harry snorted and tried not to laugh, but kept quiet as Snape put his eyes on him, Ron and Terry. "Something funny about Mr. Malfoy, Weasley?" He asked. Aries worriedly looked between Terry and Harry.
"Only one thing," said Terry, "How often does Malfoy have to bleach himself?"
"And is he tumble-dry?" That got the entire class to laugh.
Draco shrieked in complete anger. Aries then grabbed Draco in his arms, his younger brother squirming angrily in his arms. "Draco Lucius Malfoy enough!" Aries snarled. Draco growled but calmed down, even though he was still mad at his brother last night, he regardlessly snuggled up against his chest.
But Terry was giggling non-stop.
Draco finally had enough and Aries narrowed his eyes. "Draco..." He said. Draco held himself and just snarled. He just sat down. Aries sighed. "This is gonna be a long....day." He said.
Later after class, Terry was just grinning as he sang, "Oh the wizard in the red... "
Ron happily sang along while Harry watched amused.
It was then they heard a screaming coming from the boys bathroom and Draco came running out with purple hair. "Oh, so that's where Fred and George put their bubble bath dye," chuckled Terry.
Aries was feeding Fox when he heard his brothers screams and his jaw dropped at his brothers hair. "Oh my god..." He tried very hard not to laugh. Harry giggled and sat next to him. "I know your brother's a bit of a jerk, but, it is kind of cute to see his reactions."
"Remind me to ask my parents to give Fred and George a raise," whispered Terry as he looked at the ranting Draco as he was trying wrench at the purple in his hair.
Fred and George popped up, "You called for us dear brother?" They asked, innocent grins plastered on their faces.
"Nice work on switching Draco's shampoo and conditioner," said Terry.
They giggled and smirked, "Why thank you dear brother. Our work is unmatched." They said and then disappeared.
Terry sighed with a smile as Bagheera the panther cub padded up and snuggle up to him.
Harry smiled and gently scratches Bagheera behind his ear, giggling as Hedwig flew to Harry and gently perched herself on Harry's lap.
The panther purred as Harry petted him and he loved Terry snuggling him.
Harry smiled and kept petting Bagheera. Then giggled as he sees Aries' owl Fox, slowly nuzzling against Hedwig. "I guess i'm not the only Potter a Malfoy's eyeing." He teased his owl. Hedwig then hooted indignantly as she gently nudged against Fox.
Fox nuzzled her gently and he dropped a letter for Harry.
Harry curiously picked it up and opened it
It was from Aries asking Harry if he would like to join him at Hagrid's that afternoon.
Harry smiled and eagerly wrote back yes.
Later, he, Ron, Terry, Hermione and Aries were at Hagrid's hut sharing each other's stories and Aries told them about Leo joining the Weasley clan.
Ron and Terry were happy to have the youngest Malfoy join their family. Especially it meant keeping him from Draco and his father. Aries smiled as he had his arm around Harry's shoulders as they cuddled up.
Terry smiled and he knew that Aries and Harry were made for each other. He knew it would be a matter of time till they would tie the knot.
The gang then turned to see a big golden egg, "Hey Hagrid is that an egg?" Aries asked. "Yes it is Aries. And you'll be surprised by what comes out of it." He said. The gang then watched the egg slowly starting to crack and were surprised by seeing a small baby dragon. "Whoa...a Norwegian Ridgeback!" Ron gasped. "Hey Ron, Terry, doesn't your brother Charlie work with dragons?" Aries asked
Bagheera tried to paw at one of the eggshell pieces but he hissed when the dragon tried to snap at his tail.
"Aww, isn't it cute? I think i'll name him Norbert." Hagrid said. The gang looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Norbert?" They all asked. The newly named, Norbert then blew a big fire ball. "Whoa! Fiesty little fella!" Aries yelped. Harry's eyes widen at how big that fire was for a little guy. But then he noticed something in the window, a certain head of blonde hair.
"Oh no... Draco!" gasped Terry, "Fang! Sick'em!" Just then, a big boar hound bounded out the door and chased Draco down till the dog pounced and smothered the Malfoy in slobber.
Draco screamed and squealed, "EEwww! Ewww eww gross!" Aries giggled as he ran out, "Aww I think its cute little brother. He likes you." Ron turned to Aries with a 'You serious look?' "You have an odd relationship with your brother don't you?" Aries turned to Ron and Terry, "And your family doesn't?"
"Oh, I keep them in line and Ron messes them up," chuckled Terry ruffling Ron's hair but Hermione was concerned. "Won't he tell them that Hagrid has a dragon?" she asked.
Ron blushed at having his hair ruffled and cleared his throat. Only Percy and Ginny knew their place when it came to Terry. It was mostly Fred and George who got in the most trouble. Harry nods, "Yeah but there's no doubt anyone would believe him." Aries shrugged, "I don't know, Draco isn't much of a tattle tale." He said.
"Well, I don't think he'll be seeing anyone at the dry cleaner's that's for sure," laughed Terry as fang got off and Draco was covered head to toe in dog slobber.
Draco was so disgusted and glared at the gang and then at his brother. "Don't... Say... A... Word," He snarled. "Wasn't going to, little brother." Aries said calmly. Draco huffed. "You'll pay for this." He growled, stomping off. Aries rolled his eyes and smiled, "I better clean him up before he rants at being dirty. Oh and Harry, good luck at your Qudditch game, can't wait to watch you." He winked and then planted a short kiss on Harry's cheek, making him blush deeply. Aries chuckled and ran off after his brother. Ron chuckled and wrapped an arm around Harry. "Someone looks very smitten."
"Why not send his bill to his father?" called Terry so everyone could hear, "I'm sure Lucius Malfoy would love to pay for Draco's full body dry cleaning!"
The three snorted and giggled. But, they were gonna regret laughing, as soon as they went back inside, they wished they hadn't as Professor McGonagall along with a smirking Draco and a sheepish Aries were with her. They all joined her at her office. "I'm sure you all would've remembered that no students were allowed walking the castle grounds at night. And as punishment, you will be serving detention and take 50 points each of your houses." The gang were shocked by this. "50?!" Harry said. "And, Aries, i expected better from you seeing as how you're a 3rd year." McGonagall said to the elder Malfoy. "Yes professor. But don't pin this on them, i-it was all my fault." He said, feeling guilty. Harry felt sad that Aries was pinning all the blame to himself. "Well, whether it was your fault or not, Mr. Malfoy, i'll be seeing all 6 of you in detention." That caught Draco's attention. "W-Wait, y-you said the 6 of us right?"
"You're in this whether you like it or not, Drugo Muttonhead!" snapped Terry at Draco.
Draco glared and huffed. By midnight, the group were all in their cloaks and led out by Filch, to the Forbidden Forest. Where they'll be spending detention with Hagrid. "Now, Hermione, Ron, Terry, you'll be with me, Harry, you'll be with the Malfoys." Hagrid ordered.
"Fine, then I get Fang," said Draco. "Right," said Hagrid, "But just so's you know, he's a bloody coward."
Aries giggled, "And also wanna spend more time with Draco."
Terry grinned and winked at Harry and Aries. "Have fun you two," he said waving and chuckled knowingly.
Harry and Aries both blushed and cleared their throats. The Malfoy siblings and Harry with Fang both walked around while Draco was complaining about it being servants work. "Ugh. Wait till our father hears about this Aries, making us, do servants work!" Aries just pretended not to hear. While Harry turned to Draco. "If I didn't know better Draco. I'd say you were scared."
Then there was an owl hooting low and long.
The three perked their ears up and then kept walking with Fang. "Something feels off here..." Aries said. "What do you mean Aries?" Harry asked. "I have a feeling that we're not the only ones here." Aries replied.
After a while, they stopped because they saw a dead unicorn on its side and something sucking its blood. The creature lifted its head with silvery unicorn blood dripping from its mouth.
Draco screamed in pure terror and ran off with Fang behind him. Both Aries and Harry were frozen in fear. But as soon as the creature neared Harry, Aries' protective side came out. He held out a wand that was shaped like a unicorn horn and glared. "Back off unless you wanna deal with a Malfoy."
Then the creature slithered away from the unicorn and then rose up to reveal a cloaked wizard who knocked Aries' wand out of his hand.
Aries gasped, "My wand!"
The hooded figure went closer to the boys making Harry's scar hurt. Just then, they heard a clopping sound and then something jumped over the two boys making the figure fly away.
The boys were amazed at seeing the figure disappear and Aries noticed it was a centaur.
"Harry Potter, you're known to many creatures here," said the centaur, "It's not safe to walk the forest at night even for you."
Harry nods with Aries gently nodding in agreement. "But, that figure, was he...Lord Voldemort?" Harry asked. Aries shuddered at the name.
Yes," said the centaur, "Aries Malfoy, you must guard Harry Potter with your life always. He's more precious to you than you think."
Aries gently picked his wand up and nods. "I will." He then sadly turned to the unicorn who laid there dead and unmoving.
Harry, still shaky and frightened, hugged Aries tightly.
Aries held Harry close and rubbed his back comfortingly. Hagrid, Terry, Ron and Hermione had found them later. Back inside the castle. The gang began discussing what had happened, while Aries held Harry in his lap for safety. "There's no doubt Voldemort's planning to go after me and finished what he started all those years ago..." Harry said softly.
Terry stood up and started pacing. "I can't believe that Draco," he grumbled, "Abandoning his own brother and our friend Harry! When I get my hand on that little, head-bleached, arrogant twerp, he'll be having wardrobe problems for weeks!"
"Forget about Draco, we have bigger problems Terry." Aries reminded. "Yeah. But Harry. Are you sure it was really...you- know-who?" Ron asked. "Well, me and Aries didn't get a good look at his face, but, by the way my scar was burning, it was definitely him." Harry said. "And draining that poor unicorn's blood, he plans on reviving himself and being able to live forever while he hunts poor Harry." Aries said.
"Besides, Ron, how many dark wizards do you know that aren't looking for Harry at the moment?" asked Terry, "It's quite obvious, you know?"
Ron blushed and held his hands up in defense. Next morning, they were still in discussion.
And at the same time it was exam season. But then something dawned on Harry and he hurried off to see Hagrid.
Aries followed along, making sure to keep a close eye on Harry.
"Hagrid, who gave you the Dragon egg?" asked Harry as he came up to his friend.
"Well Professor Snape did." He answered. Aries raised his eyebrow in confusion, since when did his head of house bring dragon eggs?
"Why would he have an egg that size... unless he was planning a dragon omelet," said Terry.
"Yeah...or maybe he had something else planned..." Aries said, holding his chin in thought.
"Like what?" asked Terry.
"I-I don't know but, I somehow think that maybe Professor Snape could've bought that egg and delivered it to Hagrid, then somehow, my little brother comes out of nowhere, then me and Harry, encounter Voldemort, it almost felt like this was set up. And, possibly, the sorcerer's stone would be discovered." Aries said.
"Aries... you just said it!" gasped Terry, "That's what he's after!"
"The stone!" Aries felt shocked. Harry smiled, "Nice thinking Aries!"
"Power to the Aries," said Terry giving him a High-5
Aries smiled and returned the high five.
"We gotta tell McGonagall," said Hermione.
"Yeah! C'mon!" Harry shouted. They all ran to Professor McGonagall's office.
They told her about what they learned but she dismissed them and told them not to say a word.
To say they were disappointed, would be an understatement. They decided to search for the stone later tonight. At Slytherin. Aries peaked into Draco's room, making sure Draco was asleep, he then turned to his owl. "Fox, if Draco wakes up, just hoot at him, i'll be right back." He said.
Fox nodded and nuzzled his wizard hoping he would be careful.
Aries smiled and kissed his owls forehead. Then, gently turned to his little brother, gently blowing a kiss to him, "I love you Draco..." He said quietly and then grabbed his jacket, running out quickly. Meanwhile at Gryffindor, they found Neville's pet toad Trevor croaking and, they sadly had to use a petrification spell to keep Neville locked up so he didn't tell anyone. They soon met up with Aries and slowly opened the door to see Fluffy.
The three headed dog was snoring away because in the room was an enchanted harp playing a lullaby.
"Alright, we need to be very quiet. And slowly get him away from the door." Harry said. Ron looked at his friend with an incredulous look. "That's easier said than done!"
They all moved its paw off the trap door and they managed to get it open.
"Alright! Now all we need to do is-" Aries said but a loud squeak interrupted him. "What was that?" Hermione asked.
"I think that was a squeaky toy," said Terry as he looked up to see Fluffy was awake and growling. The young Weasley gasped but then he scowled and shouted "SIT!" Then, the dog sat and panted happily wagging his tail.
"Alright, just back away slowly and get into the door." Harry said and all of them jumped.
Terry lingered because Fluffy whimpered and gave him three wet kisses. "I know, but I have to save the day," he said hugging the big fur ball and kissing each cheek.
Fluffy murred and thumped his foot happily.
"Love you too, Fluffy," said Terry and then he jumped into the hole and landed on something soft with the others. "I enjoy being an animal lover," he sighed.
"Aww how sweet." Aries giggled.
Suddenly, strange vines began to wrap around them all and squeeze them like a snake.
Everyone began freaking out.
All except Hermione who insisted that everyone stop moving and then created sunlight to free them.
Soon the rest of the boys did. Except Ron who kept freaking out until finally he calmed down and slipped through.
"Phew!" said Ron, "Lucky we didn't panic."
Aries and Harry give Ron a look that plainly said, "Ya think?"
Suddenly, they heard a soft fluttering sound like small wings.
They looked up and gasped at seeing so many keys with wings.
"Why would there be so many flying around?" asked Terry when they spotted a door nearby.
"Possibly to unlock that door." Ron said. "But which one is the right one?" Aries asked.
"There!" said Harry pointing at the rusty key with the broken wing.
"But it's so high up." Ron whined. Aries smiled, "Why not let Harry get it? Besides, he caught the snitch and flew real well on his broom."
"And there's a broom here," said Terry, "But somehow... Something doesn't feel right."
"What do you mean Ter?" Ron asked.
"I mean... it all seems too simple," said Terry.
Aries looked around, "Yeah. Someones trying to set us up..."
Harry took a deep breath and gripped the broom in his hand. Suddenly, all the other winged keys swooped down and started poking Harry.
Aries was getting irritated by seeing those keys poke Harry, whipping out his wand, being very careful not to hit Harry. "Stupify!" He called.
But they just reflected off each other and hit Terry instead. Harry managed to get up to full speed to catch the key he was after.
Aries gasped and winced, "My bad! Sorry Terry!" But he was glad Harry managed to catch the key.
"Catch the key!" shouted Harry as he threw it downward and Hermione caught it and stuck it into the door.
They all ran into the new room while the keys all stuck themselves to the door. And, to their amazement, the room was like a big chess board!
It was then they had to play their way across the room and they won when Ron sacrificed himself.
"Harry, Aries, you gotta get the stone! It's all you now!" Hermione called. Harry and Aries nod, grabbing each others hands and ran.
They walked on through until they saw a man in a purple turban standing in front of a great mirror.
Harry and Aries were shocked, "Professor Quirrel?!"
The man grinned at them. "Hello boys," he said and held up his hand as rope began to tie them in place.
The boys gasped as they were tied up. Harry's back against Aries' and the two began struggling. "Professor! Do you have any idea what you're doing?!" Harry asked. "Have you gone mad?!" shouted Aries.
"Of course not," said Quirrel, but then another voice hissed, "Use the Potter boy." Quirrel raised his hand again and Harry stood with his ropes tying up Aries even more.
Harry felt his scar throb while Aries struggled and grunted, "Leave Harry alone!" The Malfoy growled.
"SILENCE!" yelled the professor as a gag appeared and it was stuffed into Aries' mouth.
Aries gasped and shouted. Harry gasped at seeing his friend gagged and turned to his professor, angrily glaring at him.
"Come to the mirror," said the professor, "What do you see?"
Harry gently walked up to it, then saw a reflection of himself, smirking and holding the stone, but puts it in his pocket. Trying to distract the professor with excuses.
"What is it? What do you see?" asked Quirrel.
"I-I see Gryffindor winning the House Cup." Harry said, coming up with an excuse.
"He lies," said the voice, "Let me speak to him."
Harry's eyes widen at the voice.
The turban was removed and there was another face. "Harry Potter," it hissed, "We meet again."
"Voldemort..." Harry gasped. Aries' eyes widen in horror, 'That's Voldemort?!' He thought.
"Yes... You see what I've become," hissed Voldemort, "Living off another. Unicorn blood can sustain me.. but it cannot give me a body... but there is something that can... And it's inside your pocket!"
"N-No its not." Harry lied.
"Don't be a fool Harry," said Voldemort, "Why suffer horrific death when you can join me and live?"
Aries screamed behind his gag to not have Harry be tempted but, Harry looked into the mirror and saw his parents.
"Just give me the stone," said Voldemort, "Do so... and we can bring your parents back."
Harry looked down at the stone in his hand but then squeezed it tightly, "No!"
"KILL HIM!" he yelled at Quirrel.
Harry gasped as Quirrel flew to him, and then he gasped as he dropped the stone. Aries wriggled in his bindings and shouted through his gag
Just as Quirrel was choking the life out of Harry, the boy touched the professor and Quirrel found himself turning into ashes!
Harry gasped and then the whole place went up in flames, he then began to help Aries out of his bindings and get the gag off of him. Aries then saw Voldemort's face, "Harry look out! Behind you!"
The phantom Voldemort passed through Harry making the boy pass out.
It had also managed to get through Aries and it also made him pass out on top of Harry.
Later, both Aries and Harry woke up in the hospital wing.
Aries held his head and groaned, "Ugh. H-Harry, you awake?"
Harry nodded as he saw the oldest Malfoy get out of his bed and join him in his own.
Aries smiled and stroked the younger boys cheek, "You know Harry, you were quite brave there. And, I think your parents would be really proud of you."
Harry looked up at Aries and smiled as he hugged his friend. "Thanks, Aries," he said softly.
Aries hugged Harry back tightly, kissing his friends forehead gently, "You're welcome Harry." He replied.
Harry couldn't help but tear up at this happy feeling. Being in Aries' arms made him feel complete somehow.
Aries nuzzled his cheek against Harry's forehead, stroking Harry's back gently, he also felt somehow complete with Harry all snuggled up in his arms and safe, promising mentally to Harry's parents that he was gonna keep their son safe with him.
Just then, who should come in but a happy Terry followed by Ron and Hermione. "There you two are," said Terry grinning, "I knew you two would be alright."
Ron and Hermione held Harry's hands and squeeze them happily. "We're so glad you're okay!" Ron smiled. "So, is Voldemort gone?" Hermione asked. Aries smiled, "Yes he is." Harry nods and smiled
"But not forever I'm afraid," said a voice. They all whipped around and saw Dumbledore standing at the door.
"Professor Dumbledore!" Aries and Harry both said.
"It's alright, boys," said the old professor, "I'm proud of how well you stood by each other. It's a sure sign of wonderful things to come... in your future." Terry smiled as he and Dumbledore winked at each other. Suddenly, Draco Malfoy came in. He was just about to hug his brother when he gasped at the sight of Aries hugging Harry. Draco went very pale. And Terry thought it was the sort of pale that a person feels not when they're scared... but when they're angry.
Aries looked up and saw his brother. Smiling happily, "Oh hey Draco!"
"Don't 'Hey Draco' me!" growled the young Malfoy, "First it was Leo and now you! Wait till Father hears about this!" He huffed and was just about to stomp off when Terry whistled, "Fluffy! Fetch!" At that moment, they heard three dogs barking followed by Draco screaming.
"Don't be too rough with him Fluffy! I still need my brother in one piece!" Aries called. He giggled and gently smiled, "And, I don't think my Daddy Dearest won't be hearing anything." He said. "How?" Ron asked. Aries gave his classic Malfoy grin, "Let's just say I can be pretty persuasive when it comes to my father." He chuckled.
"And Fluffy can cost Draco triple the dry cleaning," chuckled Terry winking at Aries.
Aries giggled and then smiled, "Well, i better go make sure Draco doesn't get torn apart and clean him up, again." He then smiled and gently nuzzled Harry's cheek, "See ya later Harry." He said softly.
"Oh no you don't," said Terry pushing Aries back into bed, "You and Harry are to stay here for a while. And relax. Fluffy doesn't bite... often."
Aries yelped like a dog as he was pushed back into bed and smiled sheepishly.
"Now play nice you two," giggled Terry grinning as Aries and Harry were left alone again.
Harry and Aries blushed deeply and sheepishly smiled, looking shyly away from each other.
"Um... Aries... There's something I've wanted to say," said Harry shyly.
Aries gently ran a hand through his hair and smiled shyly as well, "R-Really?"
Harry nodded feeling a lump in his throat. Aries had been so kind and so loving to him. He just had to say how he felt.
Aries could feel his body slowly lean in towards Harry, his lips gently nearing the younger boys own lips.
"I love you," said Harry softly as their lips met in a soft kiss.
Aries felt his eyes widen but then, he gently closed them and kissed Harry back, gently pulling the other boy to his lap and delicately placed his hands on Harry's waist.
But Harry broke the kiss and asked with a smile, "Does that mean you love me too?"
Aries smiled and nods, "Yes it does Harry."
Harry began to tear up with joy as he continued his kiss with Aries.
Aries smiled happily and returned the kiss with Harry, feeling his heart beat against his chest.
Harry kissed Aries for a long time till there were tears in his eyes. "Aries... I never thought I'd be this happy... I'm just sad it has to be over when I go back to the Dursley's," said Harry softly.
Aries frowned and kissed him back, "Aww. I wish you can stay with me at the manor. But, Draco will be there, and, he's not exactly your biggest fan. And, my parents won't be sure how they'll react if they see you. Especially my Dad...." Then smiles, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to send you letters and i promise you next year, I can take you with me when I go to Rome next summer." Aries smiled.
"You mean it?" asked Harry happily.
Aries gave a classic Malfoy smirk and winked, "You bet."
"I love you," said Harry hugging Aries tightly.
"I love you too." Aries smiled, hugging Harry back tightly.
Later at the last dinner of the semester, Slytherin banners were hung all along the great hall.
Aries and Draco smirked like the Malfoy's they were and high fived each other. But...that was short lived as the Gryffindor banners were now hung. Draco's eyes shrunk in complete shock and growled in annoyance. Aries shrugged and smiled, "Oh well, better luck next year bro."
Draco just sat there a sulked as he watched Aries cheer for Gryffindor.
Harry smiled as he blew a kiss to Aries and hugged Terry and his siblings and Hermione happily. At the train ride home, Harry hugged Aries tightly, "Promise me you'll send me letters?" "I promise." Aries smiled. "And in case you and Hedwig need company, Fox will always be there for you." He smiled.
Before Harry went on the train, Hagrid gave Harry an old scrapbook from Lily and James Potter.
Harry smiled softly at the picture of his parents.
"And Harry, if that dope of a cousin of yours gives you any trouble, you could always threaten him a nice pair of ears to go with that tail of his," said Hagrid winking, "And Terry tells me that he'll probably come to see you to teach Dudley a thing or two if he gets out of line."
Harry giggled and smiled, he'd love that a lot. And, he couldn't wait for his next adventure with his friends and of course, his new boyfriend, Aries Malfoy
