Brown Leaf, The Tracker
This is Brown Leaf, she is one of the characters in the forthcoming "The Sacrifice for Peace" trilogy. She is introduced in the first volume, "The Gathering". Brown Leaf is one of the immortal Ayoona-Lu-Nehm'a, or The People of the Forests, one of the five Elder Races on the world of Y'Nahra. Brown Leaf is a little shorter than the average female of her people, at 6 ft 10 in. She is around 24,000 years old (still fairly young by the standards of her race), her fur is mostly shades of brown with some reddish highlights and the typical grayish mask around her eyes. Brown Leaf is the best tracker of her people -- her eyesight extends into both the infrared and ultraviolet, she has a heightened sense of smell, hearing and touch. Brown Leaf is also mentally aware of the energy residue living things leave behind when they come into contact with an object, though she has to concentrate on it to "see" it in her mind. This is one person you don't want to be tracking you, because she *will* find you. Personality-wise, Brown Leaf is generally quiet, easy going and soft spoken. She is the cousin of Smoke Fire, and her best friend is Night Song.
