It was going to be one of those days. The ones where you just want to stay in bed and do nothing. Perfect timing too, with how he had nothing to do. Just him, the bed, and being lazy.

Or it would’ve been if he didn't share his bunk with another person.

“Rutherrrrrrr,” His roommate whined, nudging and kicking at his nose. The coyote had been doing that for the past minutes. And from the looks of it, he didn't plan to stop anytime soon.

So with a yawning sigh, Rutherford opened his eye at half-lid. “There better be a good reason for this, Lachlan.”

Lachlan smiled, leaning even closer with a sparkle in his eyes and a blurry tail.

“I just wanted to say Hi!”

Silence…

“I’m going to punt you now…”

A little piece I made for myself. I was struggling with artwork when I made this. Work was kicking my ass like usual. But after some attempts at a drawing.

This one came out pretty well and I always loved to draw my fox whenever I got the chance.
