A movie score project off of 'Resident Evil' that I done a year or two back! This piece focused more on the use of orchestral elements (strings, drums, and brass), along with bits of piano, vocal, and electronic elements.

I used a spotting sheet when I was developing the beginning structures of my composition, which is a visual list of what is happening on screen during the film: all the acting, dialogue, sound effects, etc.

All the original audio from the film was stripped, and I composed on top of it. I chose this project to be included in my portfolio because this song demonstrates one of the strongest orchestrated pieces I have ever created; it also gave me the experience of using external music gear to make this piece possible (ex: Roland V-Synth).

This project has brought me outside of my comfort zone by working in a different atmosphere compared to past projects. Both from the gear I was using as well as the composition.
