I'm trying to write an introduction to what's supposed to become one of the most important books ever created and to tell the truth, I'm finding it very difficult. How do you capture the thoughts of one of the most powerful beings in history? I am he, and although you may not know my face, you have surely heard the stories. The names. I am the Protector of Reality, the god of the Elements, master of twin blades, and the Progenitor of Dragons.
Here I sit next to my fire, wings curled behind me, as I look out at the wonders of the universe. I need to write an introduction to a book about a single child, one that starts out small but must face challenges that might even exceed the scope of what I have encountered. He has the potential to become a shining star, a powerful beacon of light to show the way to an unlimited number of people. He just has to make it there first. And I have to start it off. Once that happens, writing it will be easy.
