Outpost in the Dragon's Maw
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Did a thing again, a new game is (more or less!) completed!
You can play this game in browser through my site or on itch.io
After the discovery of a lush new continent, you are tasked with establishing the first settlement on its shores to exploit its riches. This all goes well until mysterious disappearances start to surface along with uncertain sightings of large flying creatures...
This is a simple Match-3 game combined with Tower Defense where you build up your defences against the ever increasing onslaught of very hungry dragons all too eager to chomp up your helpless citizens.
It runs on an 8-bit microcontroller, doing things it wasn't ever designed to do, the Uzebox homebrew console's ATmega 644. 60 KBytes of ROM space (equivalent to cartridge), and only 4 KBytes of RAM. No video hardware! Although by concept it isn't something too complicated, it still pulls off a few technological feats akin of which was never done before on this thing. Hopefully also while being enjoyable enough as a game!
