Paradox
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
"Is there reality or fantasy? Me or you? Past or future? Right or Wrong? Acceptance or Denial? Perfection? Who knows? Everything has a contradiction. A reason. A truth. A balance. Once all of that are realised, there's nothing more than a paradox. A shapeshifter. A mirror. One could be anything."
What started as a simple idea to come back on drawing, evolved into something way beyond initial expectations. The most complicated piece out of all my creations, best description of myself so far... Anyone coming across this, have fun trying to pick the true meanings behind it, there are unlimited possibilities in this XD
Took nearly 3 days, over 18 hours in total for a piece only slightly larger than an A5 page. There was a reason why I had to take time on this. A consistent black is the hardest colour to manifest in pencil drawing, requiring immense focus and consistency using my mechanical pencil. Look closely at the inconsistencies in the black shading, and more interesting contradictions appear :)
The 2nd hardest part is the galactic nebulosity. There were so many layers in them, and I had to create patterns out of nothing. The photo taking couldn't register this picture at its best, similar to my best pieces so far. The primary let down here is the light reflection on the top. The original piece looks much better than what is shown here :/

I judge artwork by reading the emotion and intent behind, the opposite of yours. That's why I sometimes take interest in art that seemingly looked like a total mess, but I could detect the sincerity of the artist behind the picture. Plenty of methods to judge. From choices of colour, arrangements, expressions, ratios, even comments or descriptions. I see art as an expression too, not just a showcase of skills or tools.
You would notice that if all my characters are present, the picture would always fully represent my personality in a way. Its not my shadow that makes me crazy though... Its the conflicting surface traits with my ego that makes this "craziness", almost like a dual personality. Each fragment looks conflicting, but share inseperable bonds. The shadow was never bad. It comes down to how you see it.
There are always invisible restraints, as there is both imagination and reality. But the key is to remove the unnecessary restraints. Once you can see a contradiction in everything, there would no longer be any side you will blindly take. You become a paradox unique in your own way.
The description you called a "bait" was a question of infinity, carefully yet naturally fabricated. Judgers love to keep it simple as a fact to play with, while perceivers will go crazy, not knowing what to do with it. That's the fascinating part of human nature, that I'm most interested in :P
I'm also aware that proud dragons never really liked wyverns, but one here must have baffled him (having a smug face here). You unable to "see" my person behind the profile, indicated that you aren't wielding you external feeling ability properly yet. You have it, just... still very weak... You "imagining a person behind" is already evidence that you have that ability that could be developed. The sense of "putting yourself in their shoes".
I personally don't think that you are crazy, its just differences represented by mirrors in my vision. I don't like to see a mess of mirrors within mirrors, so I decipher every single mirror and their meaning, along with the skills to wield them. Using that knowledge to also help others understand people.
