That tasteless Treasure Planet Movie, though the art looks professionally made. 4/5 Next time try to anthroporphysize an animal you like (fox, cat, griffin, sergal, lion).

Really? I found the art direction to be massively superb! Any scifi that can be a scifi without senseless blue glowing parts that have no purpose other than to make it look pretty is top grade in my book. :) And that was my intention. I'm taking tiny steps my next picture is going to be the anthropomorphic equivalent of Jim. :)

I know, but somehow I found that Robert Louis Stevenson's work was not a perfect match for the movie, even though the animation was excellent. A big factor in whether a movie, book, fan-fic or novel are successful or not is the story itself or it's adaptation from the book.

That's indeed true but the story was based off an old classic novel, just a different setting. I think it's the setting that put most people off. Can't blame them for experimenting though.
