For the 2010 FurFright Masquerade, we wrote a parody of "My Favorite Things" from [i]The Sound Of Music[/i]. We decided to play around a bit with the arrangement, and before too long, it started to sound like the music you might hear on some demented carnival ride (which we thought was actually a pretty good fit for a song about the furry fandom).

The wrap-around sketch was supposed to be a comedic portrayal of one of the interviews that resulted in the now-infamous article on furries in the March 2001 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Before we came up with this idea, neither nor I had actually ever read it, but we thought that it would be a good idea to do so for research. That was... interesting lol. Obviously, we could see why it upset so many furries, but we also both came away feeling that the interviewer wasn't as much to blame for how it made the fandom look as some of the interviewees were.

We ended up winning 1st Prize in the Masquerade, which was pretty awesome. Hope you all like the song!
