Sometimes, you do not know how much something or someone means to you until you give them up for another. And by the time you do finally realize it, it is too late to reconcile. Life is all about making choices, but not all choices are the truly best choices we could have made.

Despite my choosing to write The Lost Element focusing on building a relationship with Fluttershy, as you readers have seen, I have come to the discovery that Rarity, despite our differences, gives off a special allure that I do not feel from the other five members of the Mane Six. That she just feels...right. That she is the one.

Has anyone ever felt that to a woman, real or fictional? How you feel an unexplainable attraction towards her that you cannot explain? An attraction that just feels natural?

I have never felt such an attraction to any fictional woman of any sort. At least until I saw Rarity. And after all this time of writing and seeing through the eyes of the Mane Six, I can now safely say she is the one. Even if it will never be, she will always be 'best pony' in my eyes.
