Awwww he's like "Who are you, and where am I?" Makes me miss the little horned owl we had at the shelter when I was in middle school. He was my best feathered buddy :D

all the little guy was okay. I've never seen one sleeping on the ground before due to other predators. Don't think I've ever seen one in Canada where I live. Other than at the wildlife preserve. However, I've seen a few bats LOL. Had our run in with a bat a few years back. Had to go find a pair of garden gloves and pick the bat up and take it back into the burn. For whatever reason the bat can end up on top of the door just inside the eve And when I opened the door. The bat fell down and given it was daylight, the poor little guy was completely confused. Obviously could leave him outside in the sunlight on the ground. Given all the cats around where I live. The that wasn't hurt but just not the least bit impressed about the sunlight. I'm not the most comfortable person around. That's but that doesn't mean I want to see them being cat food either.

That is only if he is from New Jersey.... ;-)
