This was a gift picture for Ghostbear - a wonderfully sweet and caring person and also a good friend of mine. :3

Ghostbear and I had been chatting in the past and we discovered that we shared a passion for things like sci-fi / cyberpunk and games in that setting, especially Deus Ex and Mass Effect. And ever since Ghostbear told me that he would want to attend Eurofurence 21, I had started plotting an evil scheme, to give him this picture as a gift.

I actually had been planning to draw his character in this fashion for a long time and was so glad when he agreed to my (very vague) offer to draw him something. The picture itself was a lot of work, as I was trying to reproduce the original Mass Effect 3 cover - but not trace it. So I took a few liberties here and there and really tried to make this look as good as I could make it.

When I finally was able to present it to him, his reaction made all the work and all the weeks of keeping it a secret more than worth it. :3 It definitely was one of the highlights of Eurofurence 21 for me. :3

So, thanks Ghostbear for being such a great person to chat with and I'm glad we could spend some time together at the convention!
