I've seen other comments complaining about someone giving a one-star rating (and that very early after it is posted). My theory is that there is some individual that doesn't rate the pictures at all - the person is just trolling and messing around at Sofurry. If there are no explanation to the one-star ratings, I wouldn't put too much into them, as it has nothing to do with what you have produced.

Which is creepy, by the way.

oh there is, i had everything i did rated down to a one star buy some random guy, it really is quite depressing that someone has nothing else to do with his/her life other than try to make others look bad

Anyway, it may be the person's intentions to make others at this site look bad. Perhaps the person got hurt by someone, and wants to take it out on everybody.

On the other hand, the person might not care about or consider the victims at all. Perhaps the real target is the site itself? Perhaps someone got some art removed (for copyright or content censorship), or because the person is against the open attitude to taboos here.

In either way, I would think that having a one-star spammer would be unwanted for this site (because, as mentioned before on this thread, artists are discourages from posting their art). If you have art posted that are rated low for no reasons, I would suggest you request the site owner to do something about it.
COnsidering how this site has been built, I don't think it would be difficult to make something that tracks and flags logins that gives a high percentage of low ratings. And then let the admins have a closer look at them and their history.
