An older piece but still one of my favorites. :D

There is an ethereal quality to mermaids that make them so beautiful. Surely a sane man would take one look at such a creature and run. But no. To gaze upon a mermaid is to gaze upon madness itself. Such a creature should not exist. It takes nothing for them to make others do their bidding...and when they have outlived their usefulness, those wicked sirens lull their prey to the very depths with such sweet lullabies...
