This is based off an RP scene I had way back in the day that I had the odd idea to have drawn. As stated previously, being a powerful psion can be stressful, especially when you're someone who deeply cares about the people around them and worry about hurting them. Though she has only limited ability to passively read people's thoughts, she is still aware of them around her, and strong emotions can still affect her. The hustle of city life and her obligations upon the surface and the constant battle against her stressful lifestyle sometimes grows too much. In the stillness underwater, things are much more calm. With only the simple minds of sea life around her, she can enter a state of deep relaxation, and with her telekinesis able to bring her air from the surface, she can stay there as long as she can stand the cold.
