Amanda Fuchs at Dogtona Beach

This is another drawing of Amanda done by Yamidog/Ashkey. Here she's sitting on a seawall at Dogtona Beach, Florida. Her human friend, Michael Thomson, is walking toward her. They've known each other for five months and this is the first time she's ever seen him in any state of undress. (In this case, he's wearing a swimsuit.) He's a regular at a weightlifting gym and she likes what she sees.

You're absolutely right, Fuchs is fox in German and Amanda IS a fox, literally. I know she looks like a tiger but that's due to a quirk in the genetics of Humanimal reproduction. Their DNA splits by genetic sequences. They carry part of the genes of ancestors and upon fertilization of the ovum, the DNA starts rebuilding the genetic sequences. The first sequence that arrives in the proper position is accepted. In Amanda's case, she had tiger ancestors 200 or so years ago. When her father impregnated her mother, the tiger genes arrived in the proper sequence before the fox genes did. That's why she looks more like a tiger than a fox. (She does have fox markings on her arms, legs, ears and a tear track on her muzzle.

Thank you. This drawing depicts a scene from the story that she's the female protagonist in. She's in love with a human by the name of Michael Thomson. He's walking toward her from the beach changing room and it's the first time she's ever seen him in any form of undress. She likes what she sees; that's why she's got that small smile on her face.
