This is a GIFT ARTWORK for my great and most trusted fan
The artwork shows his dragon character "Altoryu Archade" enjoying a sunny day on a rocky beach.
Since the background is kinda simple (lazy me), I've focused more on the line art. Several shading and hatching styles make this a helluva intense line art and I'm quite happy about the result.
The simple and bright colour palette is fitting together and I chose to decrease the size of that guys's muscles this time. He's still beefy, I guess. ^^

I see you spent more time on refining your anatomy and it shows. Really awesome without going over the top with the muscles, I like that.
The shading is a bit simplistic, but still nice. I doubt he'll complain anyway ;)

Heh, I probably should have viewed this a few hours later than I did today. I had just woke up, logged in here and saw the thumbnail. Still shaking the cobwebs from my head, I thought, quite irrationally, that you had mystically pulled my name out at random and had drawn my dragon OC.
When I clicked onto the thumbnail, however, I saw the title and the number of differences outweighed the similarities between our dragons.
Still, it did give me an idea of just how spectacular my character could look if drawn by an artist of your caliber.
Anyway, it's a great piece of of art. I know Altoryu must truly love it. Really well done, RC. (^.=.^)
BUT I'm sorry for your misunderstanding here, due to "half-sleep"... please know that I don't draw characters at random. ^^" THE PEOPLE KNOW, when I'm going to draw their characters. Yeah.
But if your character is very much alike, you can - like you said - easily picture and imagine your own self here.
