Yes but I still think that the hair is my downfall. The reference he gave me was anime like and he mentioned he liked Zen's style... hence this look. However I think it still clashes a bit with the rest of the picture. :s Ah well, living and learning!

No problem. I think I know what you were going for; the look that sorta suggests it's wet and combed through?

That's definitely one of the more kick-a styles in my opinion, but I've only recently started getting into further blurring the lines between human/anthro; so presently anything I draw with hair on it looks like someone gave them a wig. Best of luck, though!
