Children of Winter pg. 2/4

Here is the second page of my unsuccessful little contest comic :D Because four short pages highly limited the story, the world, and the characters I could put together (unfortunately, I still need to learn a lot about "compressing" things in comics... XP), I thought I should have only one basic, simple idea and concentrate on that. That's where the idea of eternal winter and frost came from, and that's what I built the whole thing on. And since the contest was aimed at children, I thought it was only natural that the protagonist should be a child :)
