Taidal started off as a little Mudkip one you can get from Professor Birch, one day one of Birch's assistants let out Treeko, Torchic and Taidal to play with the local forest pokemon, but little curious Taidal went further into the forest where the three normally shouldn't go. After some exploring he got lost and became scared, some time passed after walking around some more he ran into a Team Aqua Grunt not knowing who he is, Taidal became happy that he's not lost and alone anymore and taken to the Team Aqua Hideout. There he met Shelly, Matt and their leader Archie getting a good look at the Mudkip they decided to keep him as his final evolution would be real helpful to them and their cause so Taidal stayed with Team Aqua, staying with Archie after battles here and there Taidal evolved into Marshtomp his powers growing he continues to be of aid to Archie and Team Aqua also interfering with Team Magma's schemes, Archie being pleased with Taidal. After even more battles and a tussle with Team Magma Admins Taidal finally evolved into a big strong Swampert, being a true member of Team Aqua, Taidal gotten the Aqua symbol onto his left shoulder, and gotten his mega stone from Shelly he was real happy. But, he later find himself in the mess with Archie and Kyogre, thinking for himself he decides to go down into the ocean, secretly following Kyogre to a undersea cave where he witness the legendary pokemon go into it's Primal form. Shocked and Stunned that Archie would want to have a pokemon with such insane power, Taidal continues to watch Kyogre, no Primal Kyogre do battle with the player, after a while he was caught, and the cave was about to collapse seeing the player take his leave from the cave Taidal does the same. Having seeing all that he needed to see, Taidal goes on to leave Team Aqua, Archie didn't have his pokeball so he wasn't really his trainer. Now Taidal goes on to explore the rest of the Pokemon world seeing what other adventures awaits him.
