Elretta - Color Portrait
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
From my trilogy, "The Sacrifice for Peace, Vol-1, The Gathering":
Back in 2012 I drew Elretta -- the mate of Elmric and the mother of Kurietta and Meri -- in pencil and graphite stick. Now, seven years later, I've drawn her in color (with a few changes). I think you'll like this version much better than the original. :)
Here's a link to the original from seven years ago...
:link458340:
I made the initial sketch using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, inked the outlines and filled in her black fur using a 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen with black India ink. Before applying the black ink for the fur, I filled in using a Faber-Castell PITT Artist Brush Pen using warm gray #273. I used a combination of brush pens to do the initial fill in of the trees. I used Premier brand colored pencils to lay the base colors of her outfit and the vegetation. After scanning in 48-bit color at 600 d.p.i., I imported the image into Adobe Photoshop v.6.0 and completed the portrait.

She was a tribal dancer as well...I'd love to watch her perform. <3
